    He did fail in his last tournament for the Under 21's. I think they failed to get out of the group with a very strong squad? The Carsley took over.

    What's to suggest they didn't do this though? I'd rather they were thorough and considered all options rather than rush to appoint someone who looks good on paper straight away to please HUDDERSSBANTAM on the forum and the Twitter mob happy

    It’s fine, I was being a bit naughty to be honest but not aimed at you - more the generic feeling it would be a cheap option.
    Might not be the right option, but doubt it’ll be a cheap one

    His U21 sides' performances were underwhelming if I remember right but it's not been like he's been sat on his arse for 10 years waiting for the phone to ring

    If it's taken you 4 weeks to appoint a new Manager, you haven't got a plan.

    Finished bottom of their group. Some talent at his disposal too in that tournament. Most have had good runs in either the prem or champ in the 2 years since with the ones in bold having full senior caps.

    154 pages in, updates daily of betting odds, nobody but nobody has the slightest idea who it is. Here is the question, are we absolutely certain recruitment for a new manager is actually taking place? The sheer lack of communication is just completely unacceptable.

    I would have said 2 weeks max for recruitment. 5 days to express interest. Video filtering 2 days. Short list of 4/5 in person interviews. Done.

    Like everyone else, something is going on, no idea what it is like everyone else.

    Every year we get some obscure name (Boothroyd), followed by people on here and elsewhere having a meltdown to finish with they were never in the running. At the risk of egg on my face I’m confident that’s the situation here, people never learn their lesson.
