Next manager

The club have said very little , i cant recall them asking us to suffer a bit more.
To a man we all wanted Hughes to do well , it did not work and i am pretty certain the majority were tired of his style of football.
We have to trust the process , hopefully this time we hit the jackpot.

 

You're being very selective.
Having a plan and getting ahead of the game, being decisive, doesn't always lead to relegation and you know it.

I'm fully in favour of planning. That means taking as much time as you can to get the correct person.

It's fine saying, that a club should always have someone lined up - but it's significant that lots ofn those type of signings rarely work out.

The saying fools rush in, has never been more valid when it comes to footie clubs making decisions on managers.

 

My response was to your answer wish seemed to imply that the Bristol Rovers, three quickly hired managers, was fine - even though they still got relegated. As happened to us in 2018/19.

The point I make, is that there is no proof that having a ready made manager works. If it did, I'd agree with you.

 

Yes I would like to set off a trip round the world. If I said that to anyone they would want to know how I was going to do that, would I be able to afford it how long it might take and what form of transport etc etc.
It is naive of the club to just say our plan is for promotion then have no concrete plan.
It is also becoming irritating for ppl to announce their professions and work in order to underline their point of view.

 

In fairness. I think we're all pissed off at the thought of at least six successive seasons in L2

 

Planning is not set in concrete, part of process is reviewing; evaluating and assessing what went right and what went wrong and having a strategy to have more success than failure.
