Next home game, protest

I'm very much a glass half full type of person and will always try give people/decisions benefit of doubt. I always said I would do that with Collins too and still will give him enough time to try sort this out. My worry for us (as in the club/fans) is that if we don't pick up at least 4 points by the end of the Charlton home game and displays haven't improved then I think we may be looking at another manager. Whether he's up to the job or not is debatable but the players - good enough or not have massively let him down at a time when he needed it the most, especially at home and also on the back of a win which could have turned the fans onside and to give them a bit of rest bite for a few poorer results over the next month or so.

I still believe the picture was a stupid thing to do, said it at the time and it's been the downfall for all involved. I just don't see what they get out of posting such a picture immediately after the manager is sacked. I understand the support for Stuart but to then post it on social media is extremley foolish especially if you still play for the club.

 

Don't agree, there was absolutely nothing wrong in having the photo taken, where would the censorship stop.....

I agree. I honestly don't think its a problem. They are going out for a leaving do with a guy that has obviously become a friend as well as their manager. and it's not because its McCall I feel this, I wasn't Phil Parkinson's biggest fan but I wouldn't have gone apeshit had his players taken him out for a meal after he resigned.

I dont think it can be justified a very silly thing to do at the time, as you say they could have show their support and kept a lid on it.
I think they were maybe trying to prove a point about what they knew was going on behind the sence at Bradford City.
Edin doing what he has done over that period from Stuarts sacking just proved their point, you support the master and all he says and does or your on your way, Edin's openly made that comment.
Maybe the posting of the picture showed Edin up for what he is, it seems that more and more are seeing him in a different light.

That's a point I was trying to make - taking other action, which doesn't harm anyone is a good tactic but if it drives our financial backers away before we have other options in place we are in effect damaging the club and putting it at risk. Much the same as if we did something as foolish as throwing our season tickets. I certainly wouldn't part with mine and I certainly wasn't wishing they would go elsewhere. I only wish circumstances were better and we had sold more? We need a positive owner with the finances before the current owners are forced to leave.

 

Well that is not going to happen now is it? Rupp will not willingly walk away from his investment. Plus I was referring to your other post asking fans to stay away if they don’t support Edin and his flaky plans for our football club.

 

You could be correct, as I've posted it's not just a matter of sorting the present coaching team out but when he does have to make the decision how long will it take to appoint another coach after all we went through in the closed season.
Obviously the easy thing for Edin to do is upgrade Greg but I don't think that is the answer.

About 6 weeks and if he isn't stood at the side of the dugout giving out instructions to the playing squad they can do one.
