Well that is a real statement of intent

 

I think when the budget wAs announced people were being a bit economical about what we have to spend great signing this . Surely even Fordy should welcome this

 

interesting line in the report, “this comes after a deal was struck between the two clubs, enabling O'Connor to return to the Northern Commercials Stadium as part of a long-term agreement.”

it may be something along the lines of first-refusal if we sell, a buy-back clause or a large % of any future transfer fee to reduce the transfer fee we may have had to pay now.

Also interesting to read he has turned down a host of league 1 clubs to return to us. Must be confident he can achieve things with us.

Quite pleased with this one tbf I think he could be great at league 2 level and has plenty of potential.

What's really pleasing me about this window is the players coming in are Bowers choice doesn't look like any one else is interfering and that can only be a good thing.

 

If that’s the case it should happen more in football allowing promising players to progress with clubs that normally couldn’t afford them
