I’d give full Bradford end to schools when a small away crowd is expected

seats are free from a ‘sponsor’ whereas safe standing would have been costly including removing concrete and relaying to get the depth of each step wide enough

 

Didn't Carlisle fill the away end last game of last season? Maybe Grimsby before that?

There are plenty of scallies who stand at school gates, who would agree with that.

It's a shame our sponsors couldn't have paid to have safe standing installed on the lower tier.
The view (if sat down) from the ground tier is awful. Hence why everyone stands up.
I doubt new seats will make any difference to improving the view of the pitch and away fans will continue to stand

Port Vale, Mansfield and Tranmere asked for more tickets last season. They were refused due to relevant certification.

There’s just under 800 seats in the lower Dallas. X that number by demand, based on last season alone, and you can just about fathom why the decision to replace such seats was made.

Im amazed it’s even brought into question, to be honest.

 

Presumably the club will be putting fans in those seats from now on.

Yes different world mate, far more distraction, but as myself introduced them to the game and they will either taket it or not.

 

Son and daughter still interested even though their lives and locations have moved on since they were season ticket holders. Both going to Colchester with me next week along with grandsons! Should be fun!

 

I sat in the upper tier for the cup game against Reading and think the lower tier was used too for City fans
