New Season Ticket Offer

What if there's a couple of signings to sway people. Just a thought.

 

Many signings turn up every new season, which one do you remember that would sway somebody?

 

Not bad? We had 19 thousand last ssn. Thanks to Edin we're 5 thousand down. It's shite is what it is plus they're dirt cheap.

He has a point though, some banging on about that selling 15k ST's is good, totally ignores the fact that the business has lost 20% of it's customer base in one trading year, that is pretty catastrophic! It's much easier to lose a (contracted) customer than attract one.

 

Have we actually lost that many from the customer base?

About 1k were gifted so not actually ever part of the customer base? How many of the rest were £5 kids who never really went?

 

Ye we have lost that many cos people have had enough of Rahic and I can't say I blame them really.

 

Considering the freefall we were in last season, the vast majority still back the club regardless of what Edin is up to. 14,000 season tickets is still a good figure.

 

It’s not shite Punk it’s just not bad, if we sell 15k it won’t be many less than 3 years ago. You could also argue last year was a stand out year for sales and many will have bought for the first time, plenty of those won’t renew due to the shite on the pitch last year.

So whilst we can argue losing 4.5k from last year is a decent chunk we’ll still sell as many as In 2014/15 season or thereabouts. Throw in the general discontent ( me included) I think it could have been a lot worse. Plus a small increase in cost

 

So nothing to do with results then !!??

 

Actually this season they are only included if you pay the membership fee and could only be renewed if you renewed last year, so a drop in numbers.

 

Only if a membership or suite upgrade has been bought and the ticket was upgraded last season - this is a change as tickets that were not upgraded last season no longer are included. Previously the total number of around 900 were automatically included.

 

Very true no matter who the custodians of our club are we support the players and club.

 

By spreading malicious rumours ?

 

Personally not renewing, but that isn't down to Rahic et al, purely down to my own circumstances. I'll be attending most games with my brother regardless but the timing of the ST offers just hasn't suited, and I think a lot of people may be in the same position.

That's not to say some people haven't stepped back due to the ownership, but the proportion of them is being greatly overstated

 

I started going to City as a six year old after getting into football from following the World Cup that summer. There was no interest in the game in my immediate family, but my Grandad was a lapsed City fan and that's what got me in.

I wouldn't have had a clue what had gone on in the season before, who the owners were, or what their plans/vision for the club were.

Given the current, misplaced, euphoria around England it makes perfect sense to launch an offer, but the club should be all over it - would anyone who doesn't go on the City website/twitter even know about it?

 

I suggest you read it again @Silverbantam especially the bit where I say "no matter who the custodians of our club are" do you understand now ?.

 

Agree with that, except I actually think England have a shot - not out of blind faith or over-investment in beating teams like Panama and Tunisia, but because the balance is there and things seem to be falling into place!
