New kit

Hoops never again, they belong on a rugby kit. I like the traditional stripes but wouldn't be against something a bit different.

Claret and amber stripes with black shorts please.

Claret with amber trim away kit please in the style of Roma

 

I liked the 12/13 hoops but this seasons was a poor design especially with the collar.

 

I don’t like white on the home shirt or shorts. Recently there’s been some sort of spin or theme to the kits. What anniversary is coming up next season -longest time in the bottom league? Hoping the return to stripes and black shorts.

 

Just for a change to stripes / hoops.

All claret with amber trim at home
All amber with claret trim away.
All black with C&A trim as a third kit ( Edit: Or ELECTRIC BLUE )

 

Think Ryan sparks said last time, he likes the idea of a couple of years of stripes and then a variation on the third season, im sure this must have been the 3rd year of that cycle so I'm guessing we are back to stripes

 

I agree, would be nice. Simple, classy designs.

 

Used to be all claret shirts with amber trim, with white shorts and claret stockings with amber tops in the late 50's Kev,

Hopefully back to stripes. This season’s kit was awful - good riddance.

 

Bring back the electric blue away kit. That was class

 

Loved the blue away kit last season which I purchased, it was so popular it ran out at Christmas.

Please no more pink shirts like the one I spotted at the recent Western Utd game, made my feelings known about Leeds to the son and his his straight away.... that is compulsory!!

 

Literally just had an all amber kit as goalkeeper kit.

 

Barely worn though, which is a shame because it was the best of the 3 imo.

 

Yeh a shame. I liked the all claret kit the year before as well but again hardly used.

Think stripes with black shorts and socks is nailed on this summer.

Blue away will probably make a return too.

 

The voltage cherry was decent imo. Blue ones we've had in the past have always been good. The diamond patterned "Freemans" one by Front Runner (91-93) and the Beaver "JCT" (97-98) are classics. The 93-94 Admiral away shirt in blue is the holy grail among City shirt collectors. Only seen a few for sale over the years. Would fetch 300 quid upwards if someone put it out now, maybe more as just last month a match worn Sean McCarthy shirt sold for 425 quid on Ebay. Even the Diadora one (03-04) was a nice colour. The Nike shirt in 2013 with the fade was a bit wishy washy, but on the whole, blue has been a great away kit.

I've got the white Mythbreakers shirt. Bought it from a local sportshop ( in south wales ) about 87 i reckon . Not sure how much its worth , not that i'll sell it .

 

Quite a bit of money. How on earth did you find it in a sports shop in the Valley's? I still kick myself, cos when I moved away from Cardiff, I took a load of my old City shirts to an Oxfam in Canton, laughing that there's now some City shirts in South Wales and I've left my mark there. Of course, those shirts I gave away, are now the ones going for silly money. A proper "what was I thinking?" moment.
