New Kit 2022/23 (with Poll)

Does it depend if he is reelected?

 

I'd guess the amount of kits the club sells that a manufacturer would be willing to take on the contract with a better offer than the previous one.

 

Happy with this. Wear quite a bit of macron stuff for the gym and football and their stuff is good quality

 

Cue arguments over the design ,anybody any ideas?.

Unless there's been a breakdown in relations between city and Avec, then must admit I'm quite surprised by this.

The various kits over the past few years have been really good on the whole and have sold reasonably well so just assumed we'd renew with them

 

Might be part financial and part turn around times for extra units or specials

I posted the Motherwell kit under that post on FB. Made by Macron and I'm sure they'll use the same colours. Brings back memories of Subbuteo.

Similar kit to the non league garbage the team wear at home now but 1000% better. Avec is embarrassing for a club our size.

A company may well have come in with an offer more beneficial to the club. If so and Avec can't or won't match it then we move on. One of the bargaining chips the club has is the amount of merchandise it sells, one of the benefits of having a larger fan base than anyone else in the division and bigger than a lot of the teams in the division above.

 

That looks like a cheap Turkish knock-off of our current kit. The Avec kits are supplied by the same people who provided us the Nike kits previously except by using the Avec brand we could design our own shirts rather than just changing the colours on a Nike sunday league kit. The quality has been very good too - still wear several from a few years ago for 5 a side and despite multiple washes they look brand new.

I've been happy with the Avec kits but presumably the club have got a better deal elsewhere. I just hope they're of the same quality both in terms of manufacturing and design as we've had through Avec.

 

With Motherwell having the famous claret and Amber I'm sure Macron will have the colours right. That is if they do end up being the new supplier.

 

Heads up for anyone who like to buy the shirts and doesn't want to make everyone else jealous of their amazing physique you might want to get the next size up to what you've got with Avec as Macron like the tighter fitted shirts.
