New head of Performance & Physio

Fingers crossed they are good. This is such a crucial part of the coaching set up and we should not worry about having a strong budget for this department.

 

Is this more “ footballing investment”? Rather odd that the two existing staff upped sticks, or sticks were kicked away rather abruptly only to be replaced by two with a seemingly “better CV” ?

More Sharps doing if you ask me. Clearly the head of football thought we had too many injuries last couple of seasons , and those injuries always seemed to take an era to resolve?

Good luck to them as results on the field stem from quality back room staff.

Yep, he said something about it being an area we needed to improve before the end of last season. Sharpe undoubtedly backing him up about that will have helped I'm sure.

 

Possibly just the classic "I've done this for a bit now fancy a change". I suspect we're an easy sell to non-playing staff if the package is right.

 

No idea, however timing does coincide with GA comments as has been pointed out.

 

I sincerely hope not. These are positions we should fill as a club, it's not like assistant managers that travel around with their gaffers.
