I've not been myself - But highly unlikely, Park, if that's your only reason for going. I'm more likely to go once the friendly games start, so not a wasted journey. :)

Talking of the Club shop - I hope with our 'longer term' signings, the City Calendar reflect these - Then I don't have to look at players no longer with the Club, ie; Nicky Law is this years JUNE. And with 6 months remaining, more may go !

Hopefully it will make a difference to what was a poorly run outfit. Already seen them advertising stuff for Fathers day, be interesting to see what stock is like when the new kit comes out.

Sorry mate at your age and weight you wouldn't be able to pull any of the items off in the shop.

Suppose you could attach a Edin Mug to your forehead though.

Yeah, Al - I have quite a few replica shirts, but seldom wear them to games. I'm more likely to wear a City related Polo shirt, especially if attending an Away game, where 'colours' are barred in many eateries and Pubs.

I agree and hope we are able to start stocking some decent merchandise to complement the kit and training gear. Some of the tat we had before was embarrassing and vastly overpriced for what it was. Also think it would be worth the club looking at doing limited edition retro shirts from time to time - if they promote it right and make it so those that want to buy them have to pre order it will also avoid any over stocks.

I don’t know how old you are Ronnie but I don’t think replica shirts suit oldies like me. Prefer the leisure wear

60, Park. Which is why I don't wear my Club strip shirts ! ;) Unless of course it's a game with the family - an' we ALL wear the Colours, which is rare. :)

Edit ....... Pretty glad they're rare, as the Bank of Dad / Granddad can risk goin' bust, ha ha. :D

I remember and actually liked that shirt (though the sponsor now sounds 'naff' !).
My first shirt was a birthday gift some years later. The 'trend' continued, and I seem to get one as a gift every two years, these days. :)

@Bigrod@Bigrod - Do you remember the City shirt which was all white, with narrow Claret and Amber stripes down the left side ?
I'm sure it was in the 'Daisy' McNiven era. Now I did like that, at the time - Similar to the Crystal Palace strip, back in the day ? :)

You missed out on a great era Rod. For all I mentioned Daisy - I'm sure the first player I saw in that kit was Gerry Ingram, as they entered the pitch.

As for the two all Claret and all Amber kits - Many younger supporters will now realise WHY we fans started the "C'mon you yellows" chant.
The Pulse commentator, Chris Cooper never understood this- yet he claimed to know City well !

Gerry Ingram , what a classy Centre Forward. Alan Gilliver and Ingram up front were a great combination - happy days.
