I think Platt is a dependable defender, no one , especially me is saying otherwise but that’s his limit. His passing accuracy to LWB / RWB down the sides is normally worse than Lewis and that’s saying a lot . Can we do better of course we can, but it will be a chunk of money no doubt, to see that improvement we require. He will go if he wants to go, either way I’m happy.

I think Young will be sold probably to Carlisle who will also sign Dan Kemp to recreate their partnership that they had at Swindon. We certainly won’t go for Kemp now that we’ve retained Walker and signed Sarcevic.

The man replied, 'You shouldn't ask people questions in a roomful of strangers, if the answer could embarrass anyone. The man walked out, waited several minutes, and then re-entered.
The Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, 'Yes??'
'There's something wrong with my ear,' he stated.
The Receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice. 'And what is wrong with your ear, Sir?'

I might agree with the latter but not the former Grumps. We will put a price sufficient enough on Young to make the Yanks blink?

 

We shall see Kevin, I can just see us losing 1-0 at home to Bromley next season and looking at the phone only to see Carlisle beating Crewe 4-0 with Young scoring 3 and Kemp 1.
