Luckily we got seats in the stand and most fans around us were more mature fans shall we say but a few expletives came out as the game went on.

 

Thinking about it, under Hughes at home we haven't had many games where we can relax

 

Today is a bad day obviously but for whatever reason I'm not as bothered nowadays as previous seasons, which for me is a shame as a City result used to mean everything. I expected a poor season this time for whatever reason after never recovering from the playoff defeat, I didn't even buy a season ticket I was so p1ssed off.

 

That would make two of us.
I’ve Supported City for over 60 years, season ticket holder since 1968/69 season Evans would end my association before the grim reaper.

 

Trust me... I wouldn't

 

I know its pretty clear I haven't been enamoured with Hughes and his team for some time - very underwhelmed to be honest.

Interesting that Hughes didn't spare his players at all today in his interview, particularly the experienced ones. And the fans totally right in their views on that performance.

Hughes is def walking on egg shells but some of our senior pros need a rocket up their arses, abysmal effort and commitment whatever the shambolic leadership and tactical clarity of the management team

What a shambles of a position to be in just 4 games into the season! Someone just doesn't seem to know quite what they're doing - its a very sad state of affairs.
Just wonder what Sparks is thinking this evening, and wonder if hes had a sneaky peak at his inbox.....just incase

 

Pattison, McDonald, Odour and Pointon looked good in spells.
Pointon to start on Saturday. That's the positives out of the way.

The new fullbacks/wing backs look worse than Halliday & Ridehalgh.
Kelly really struggled today. Odusina must be really bad if he can't get a game.

Once Smallwood gets booked he's a passenger. Surprised MH didn't take him off earlier.

Lewis & Cook a shadow of their former selves.

It feels as though we needed a couple of tweaks in the summer. Instead we've ripped it to pieces and started again.

 

As yourself @derrickh100 I've well over 60 years supporting our team and I'm sure you're like me a defeat in my younger days would ruin my weekend, but as you get older I believe we come to accept there is little point in walking around with a long face.
Unfortunately its not the fact we get beat but how we get beat, and performances like today do rangle, they are professional athletes who train all weak trying difference formation and honing their skills for the coming game. Unfortunately there was little sign of anything constructive today in our inept performance and as a happy clapper I can usually find something from the 90+ minutes but the only positive thing I saw was the young kid Pointon taking defenders on and actually crossing a descent ball, once again we saw professional footballers not able to land a ball in any sort of danger area, I believe second half Smallwood put one good corner kick in then made a complete mess of his next corner and to hit a free kick out on the full is IMO criminal for a pro footballer, Horlicks time calling .

 

Is that under Hughes or someone else?!

 

I agree and questioned myself for making that comment after 4 games but watching that today I'm not sure where he starts it was that bad, he has another full week without a game so no excuses were at home to Crewe we expect far better than today Mr Hughes.

 

Come on Hudders, you have to give Richards a pass today on his debut where he put two great crosses into the area.

 

I wonder what the lads think now, wtf have I done coming here, it must be an off day as they did so well last season and they have signed players to improve on last seasons finish.

He didnt do it as some sexual pervasion, he did it meaning women shouldnt be there ( wrongly in todays world). It was reported because there was two youth team players going to clean the dressing rooms with wendy at the time. PP on the monday after the weekend told her to report it..And it went from there...Wendy doesnt give a fk and i dont give a fk give me him tomorrow to get this club out of this shithole that we're stuck in.

 

We are not progressing Morley and i think people have just reached the end of their tether - sadly some show it in a most basic form.
There is just so little that seems to be falling into place and we all had higher hopes of Hughes and his management team. They have been such a let down

 

A sense of proportion needed I feel sorry for those paying good money for a poor performance. However we are four matches in with one at home three points of seventh. It’s far to soon for the doomsday scenario let’s wait at least 10 games which is usually a better guide with three out of the next four at home

 

I think for many its a realisation that Hughes and his team are not what we really hoped they would be and that reality has really kicked in today. Hughes just doesn't fill me with any hope that he knows what he is doing, and football fans without hope are only half the animal....

 

That's ok then. As long as Wendy didn't mind ...........

That could be MH last game?

If next week goes badly at home I don't think it will take 10 games Park! I do admire your resolve, but just fed up with the constant shit show that is Bradford City - and i can understand the absolute disbelief and anger of those who went today
