    MK fan in peace.

I know your keeper has got some stick for our second goal from the free kick but the ball had some wicked swerve on it. There is some footage from behind the ball below.

We are all still in shock how quickly Williamson has had such an impact and we are playing football again. I hope for your sakes you don't end up with Alexander.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

That was a truly miserable watch. It was the most one sided game I can remember for years and often looked like a cup game between a Premier league giant and a Sunday league side. The gulf in quality between the sides was absolutely frightening.

MK Dons are an excellent footballing side. From 1-11 they're all comfortable in possession and always want the ball. Contrast that to our lot who shy away from the ball and look completely clueless when they have it.

We'll be ok against the Wrexhams of the world who believe there's grass in the sky but as soon as we play a side like this it's a long day for us. We've got a team with no pace whatsoever, ageing players with no energy throughout the spine and collective fitness levels that a professional team should be ashamed of.

I was actually watching that tonight more gutted that we've missed out on an excellent manager in Mike Williamson than the fact we were getting a hiding. I hope you were watching Ryan - that's what you could've had.

Only consolation is its an hour home for me.

The players didn't like it because it didn't suit their skill set. Hughes and Gent picked the players. Fans don't boo good passing football, they love it but it has to have an end product. He persisted with a game plan that didn't suit the tools available and it was painful to watch and must have been equally painful for the players. Why give a failing plan another season? I don't get it at all.

Do we still have a fitness coach? I’ve seen more energy and sharpness in my Mum’s care home after Sunday lunch than we showed in the last thirty minutes.

Just back, after a bit of a 'mare journey back up the M6.

Very lucky to only lose by 3 in what must be our worst league performance in many years.

City man of the match 'the woodwork', which helped us to not concede a cricket score.

We need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and make sure we put it right at Sutton.

Hopefully we'll have a carefully selected manager in charge before our FA Cup match, if not before Sutton.

    Good night.

My kids are driving down to this one as they're off school/college.

Looks like I've really been indoctrinatised now and doomed to a lifetime of misery!

We've had awful performances under some experienced managers but I don't recall a game where we nearly conceded double figures. This, for me, is one of the worst performances I've ever seen as a collective group

Completely embarrassed tonight. We look like a bunch of blokes pulled off the local park. MK have toyed with us.

If anyone needed it to be reiterated, this once again highlights the complete and utter dogs dinner the club made of recruitment in the summer. Our squad is filled with absolute bobbins. Oduor, Tulloch, Taylor, Ridehalgh, Oyegoke, Afoka - none of these should be with the club. I like the Smith signing, but so far he's shown nowt so could be linked with the above.

And sadly some of them are on three years deals. Horrific.

We've 33 players but no cover for Cook, no quality wide men, limited options in centre midfield and no back up goalkeeper to push Lewis.

Well they bloody well should have done! Oliver had surgery a week into pre-season. It seems like they gambled on him making a very quick recovery and/or Cooky staying fit and firing like he was last season. Reckless decision making. They took the cheap option in signing Smith, who looks like he could play until doomsday without scoring.

25 minute drive for me this one.
First game I’ve been to this season so looking forward to seeing this new fancy attacking football I’ve heard so much about the last 2 weeks!

Imagine thinking a month ago that Smallwood missing a game would be a big loss to the team.

It’s worrying for me, people will say it’s one game etc. but I’ve counted 11 clear opportunities that they should have scored, no ifs or buts. I can’t remember a battering this bad, it makes the Bristol City game look competitive. Fair enough MK Dons have looked great, but we’ve looked like Scunthorpe when they were relegated tonight. We’ve made them look like Man City.

I'd have to go back to the Bristol City game to remember such a one sided game. Could and really should have been 7 or 8. Brought back down to earth after this. To be fair to MK Dons they have been fantastic and it looks like they've picked up a very good manager in Williamson. Plays a style of football very effective yet pleasing on the eye.

The fans still singing "City Till I Die", great effort guys safe journey home, that has got to be right up there with the Morecambe debacle.
Off to bed not a pathologist so wont be involved in the autopsy.
