Funny, because it is exactly how I saw it too and I note a few others have posted similar comments.

You sure you weren’t at home watching Liverpool whilst listening to ‘unbiased’ Pulse commentary?

MKD were definitely the better team in the 1st half and, although we improved in the 2nd, it didn’t look like a side fighting for promotion against a team fighting league survival.

We were playing MK Dons at home who are going down to league 2. We have nothing to play for and it was a home match.

We shouldn't have to win ugly in this kind of match.

No he lent it to Paul Taylor when Grayson said he wanted his player suited and booted, and he pissed off back to Liverpool without returning it.

I thought we played alright. Boring maybe, but our pitch his hardly suitable for tippy tappy football is it? I was worried at half time it was gonna get called off due to the Midland Road side being like a total duckpond.

Set up with two big lads up front, and ball winning midfielders, one with a bit of drive (Guy). Thought Lund was a bit anonymous again, but Dieng had one of his better games.
Warnock was excellent, full of running and some decent crosses. Obviously trying to go out with a bang.
Brunker had his best game yet. Some decent layoffs and finally positional sense. Shame he didn't score.

However, like ALL of us - I'm left thinking pffffff. What's the point in starting to win now? Each win, although nice to see three points, just reminds me what could have been.

how on earth did you cope during the parky years the football wasnt exactly tiki taka back then.

you're completely divorced from reality which is that weve been dogshit for few months with the squad showing a complete lack of fight. on that basis, grinding out wins with a bit of fight is a positive, the nice football can come later. furthermore, it is the absolute epitome of bradford city to feck these kind of games up so you can't have been watching us for that long.

Been a season ticket holder for a while now. - you and me both matey

Parky's tactics are boring also but we were mainly in div 2 then. - whats the difference now? we dont have to play like barcelona to get out of league one hence why graysons got about 4 teams promoted with a ismilar style.

Grayson's tactics are 10 times worse than Parky's. - id say theyre the same with the exception that graysons trying to mould a set of somebody elses players to the same tactics. if he gets his own personnel in things may change, as once parky had his players in they actually could play a bit when required. (chelsea)

How many there last night? About 9k. We will lose many more fans under Grayson with his dire tactics. - not if we keep winning and get the feelgood factor back, graysons alluded a couple of times to playing more expressively once we've regained discipline and fight should he stay next season. we're a working class club and community, we don't expect flair players just a bit of balls and determination and to be able to relate to players who give everything for the shirt. people didnt love players like stephen darby because he was scoring rabonas from 30 yards, it was because they could see the effort and determination every time he played.

Grayson isn't even remembered at Huddersfield that's how boring his football is. - so what, he got them promoted

That's because like all fans they have bad memories or only have the ability to remember what a manager was like, before the axe came

They certainly "remembered" him with fondness at around 1700hrs on 26th May 2012

He actually lost his job at Town more due to falling our with Hoyle, who used to have a tendency to be a dictatorial owner -(where have heard that before ;)) than due to anything else

I'm hoping he stays. But more because, It'll guarantee some legendary comments from you

Charlton need 2 points from blackburn at home, and rochdale away

Scunthorpe need three points from mk dons away, Plymouth home and us at home.

That is all still dependent on us winning all three left.. Can see us ending two points off in 7th or 8th

Not a classic last night by any means but a few weeks ago the performances were dire but there is a slight improvement and we got a win.
Doubt the pitch will be any better Saturday or the opposition.
Just need to be less wasteful when in possession,a better side than MK would have punished some very average play from City last night.

Definitely not a classic! And in front of probably the lowest home league crowd of the season. Judging from the spaces in the Kop and Sunwin stands, fewer than at the Shrews game imo.

MKD were probably the worst away team to have visited VP this season. They created very little other than a few skirmishes and we made hard work of it a times. You're quite correct. A better team than MKD would have punished us last night. A 2-0 win is very welcome but the performance, although better than some recent ones, demonstrated to me that there is a lot to do in the summer transfer period irrespective of who is the manager.
