I'd have him in midfield at the minute to be honest.

thanks for that, I knew the rule had been changed but wasn't sure about the "exemption" issue. But think about it, everyone knows the FA Cup is a money spinner for lower league/non-league clubs. By stopping replays from 5th round it denies a small club the possibility of a replay and more money. Maybe in these instances the old ground switch should be allowed. Anyway, another story to show the real value of the FA Cup, and why, for a significant number of supporters, it is a tournament to be cherished.

I very much doubt the Manchester City mega stars would relish playing on that pitch
very little chance of an upset I agree but what an opportunity for some of the young fans of which plenty were there last night to see the "Superstars" grace Rodney Park it may be the only chance they get to see players of that stature and also for the players to one day tell their grandkids they played at Rodney Park against some of the biggest named in world football
No switching venues for me Leicester had to play there in the last round and Middlesborough lastt night so why not the "Noisy Neighbours "Park bantam likes this. -
Just seen his interview on BBC, comes across incredibly well.
I was at an away game at Aldershot in 2012. We lost 1-0 and were on par with tripe we experienced at the start of this season. We looked lost and with little desire. At the end of the game Flynn game up to the away fans applauded them and then stayed to speak to many of the angry and disappointed supporters who had travelled so far.
At the time I thought how decent it was that he had the balls and respect to do that. I was always a fan of his, but he raised my level of respect that day which has existed since.
Hope he gets a good result today.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

earned them some coin through FA Cup last year too. Shame about the draw for next round though. The sort of club that can do wonders with good cup run money. Good luck Flynny and get Man U or Arsenal away in next round.

Talking of which, beating Boro 2-0 with 3 mins left, home tie v Man City! Can they switch it for an away tie, get more brass in?

30 years ago when they went bankrupt 400 fans rebuilt the club from scratch

good on them, built by fans. Dread to think what might happen in next round but well done to them.

Comes across as a great, passionate and down to earth manager. Loves the game.
Wouldn't say no to him coming to us if ever needs be. -

"FA Cup rules state that match venues may only be switched for safety and security reasons, and that in cases where the home team's stadium is not suitable, the first alternative venue is the nearest suitable ground, subject to FA approval."
As they hosted Leicester in the last round, unlikely they would be able to claim safety or security.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
