Wonder if Bowyer is hoping that Swansea sell McBurnie, then the financial issues (if that's what it is) go away?

 

Or simply withdraw the contract offer for Colville and use that money to pay for McPhillips. Sorted

 

GB would really need to tread carefully, should he employ such a tactic. With a few Trialists being viewed - What IF GB wants to sign two ? Stefan could play hardball and say there's only enough in the Budget for just one. Meaning GB gets beaten by his own stick, which in turn would surely have an effect on their relationship ?

 

Or leave it as it is. Which he seems quite happy to do

Unless I’m missing something. I don’t see the issue. We have a contract on the table for Colville and Bowyer tells Rupp he’s interested in 2 trialists AND McPhillips. Rupp says there isn’t enough budget, so Bowyer offers to withdraw the offer for Colville if he can have the others? What’s the issue?
