Why we focusing just on the last 3 years?

What happened when we sacked Jackson? Were you in favour of that? Did anything change?

Keeping a poor manager won't do anything for results either.

 

on hearing of Sparks' surprising promotion, McCall walked into his office with a 'back me or sack me' demand.. Sparks bricked it and gave him a new one year deal. that's the only way I can guess why what has happened today has.

McCall called his bluff and won the battled. On leaving the office he pulled an armband out of his pocket, placed it on his left arm, turned to Sparks and screamed "I'm the captain now."

 

I agree with you to an extent but you don’t reward a failing manager with another year when he is no closer to turning it around.

 

Absolute standard reply that. You do know if doesn’t have to be one or the other? You sit there with your head in the sand and watch us drop even further, into non league and then out of business. No reasoning with you.

 

Not only that, he's never shown anything as a manager to suggest he's capable of turning a bad situation around. It's a bizarre decision.

How have you tried to reason with me? I'm giving my opinion and explained WHY I have my view.

I don't have my head in the sand. I have concerns and if we get relegated this season it would be devastating. But we'd survive, I'm sure. I don't want that, though. No city fan does.

Very standard. You’re happy to wait and not act despite us not stringing a decent performance or two together all season, horrific recruitment and god awful running of the club. We’ve promoted a media manager to CEO and given an extension to a failure because he’s a legend as a player. How on earth can you pleased with today?

 

And we wonder why Nothing.Changes
on the day we appoint a 28 year old with a journalism degree as our new CEO.

 

Thing is manager after was given 250 games to manage who actually was at 22nd in league two at one point.

He did bring organisation and proactive signings in straight away even with a limited squad. Exactly what I'm asking for now.

He got 250 games because he deserved 250 games. Exactly my point.

I think Parky won the manager of the month in December of his first season having only been appointed in Late August . Immediately showing he was up to the job. We beat promotion chasing sides and we generally didn’t lose many games even if we didn’t win loads

 

How did he deserve 250 games? In his first 22 matches of a league two season we were 22nd? This is exactly what is happening with stuart now. How can you see the need for progress then but none here?

 

I don't think we were 22nd for the whole time of his first 22 matches but I take the general point.

Its different though. Parkison took over a squad which was clearly destined to go down, signed new players and organised them into at least scraping survival while still building for the future.

Stuart has built a squad that looks like it should go down, has them looking completely disorganised and refuses to strengthen. I see the need for progress, I don't see what he's doing to make that a reality.

 

No he wasn't you are right, but dont worry i am not saying we should stick with stuart regardless. If we are here next season then by all means lets get rid. Lets just see what happens when we let the manager stick around for a bit.
