I have recently started enjoying their alcohol free ones. Never actually tried the alcohol ones!

Well well well, look what turned up in my local store...and subsequently in my cellar (440ml tins):

Both Landlord and Jaipur available in stores near me, though not in the same store -- that would be too much to hope for!

Picked these up in my local Lidl in the south of Poland. 47 Zloties = about 9 quid. Have had the leftovers from Thursday's curry and I'm making fush 'n' chips tonight. Also wearing new pants that I hope to designate as my lucky undies for the season. Come on City. Don't let me down. Please.

Am at a festival in a forest situated in Polva, south Estonia not far from the Russian border. Watching on iFollow. 5€ IPA in a plastic cup, fending off wasps in a quiet area too close to the kids zone. And we’re losing.

"Some folks like water / Some folks like wine / But I like the taste / Of straight strychnine..." EIther version will do, The Sonics or The Fall.

City seem determined to yet again drive us to drink. Good thing I have 24 Jaipur, several Landlord, some Sam Adams, a lot of Muskoka Detour session IPA, and a few other tins sitting downstairs. Now for the next match...

But it was fish&chips for dinner today, and an Alsatian Pinot Blanc was called for instead.

Next weekend I'm in Whitby, and Saturday is the NYM raikwsy, so my pre match drinks will hopefully be a decent pint or six in a nice pub in Pickering, followed by some more when we get back to whitby. On the train back at 4pm, so will probably sleep the second half off

    Aren't I lucky !!

Back home from the match and I'm now enjoying two ales making use of the magnificent Citra hop:
    • Castle Rock (Nottingham) DDH Pale 5%
    • Thornbridge (Bakewell) Crackendale 5.2%

Enjoyed my beers pre match in Ye Olde Vic! The Mallinson’s was decent, the Copperoplois Welsh Pale Ale was IMHO a little underwhelming.
Time to call it a night now I think.

Love a bit of citra myself too. There’s some absolutely banging citra craft ales around (cans) at the minute.

Was Jaipur after the win on Saturday; dropped down a division tonight due the draw: Sam Adams Boston Lager. Admittedly, not too much of a drop.

We’ve got Crackendale lined up in cask. Also, Thrornbridge sending us one cask of this. Not citra, but should be zesty. Looking forward.

Oakham Citra was always a good pint.

It was John Bryan, Oakham's head brewer, who brought the Citra hop to the UK, with Oakham Citra being the first brew in the UK to be made from the hop. And Oakham Citra remains an excellent pint.

I think all Oakham beers are good. Have you had anything by The Kernal? They do a great citra pale ale. Hard to find outside of London though,
