In fairness how does anyone prevent serious infection from an insect bite, which meant McD was out for two weeks. All of a sudden it’s training methods causing injuries. Where do these factless theories originate. Can you perhaps identify one player injured in training as opposed to in a game? I’m struggling
Walker , unpunished foul tackle in the Crawley booking festival missed several games.
Cook persistently in difficulty through several games , originated in game 2 from memory.
Pattison during a game after getting clattered several times
Chappy during a game late last season and needed an op
Oliver …not sure
I honestly can’t think of any set backs gained in training other than KMcD ?

Certainly the lad from Rovrum didn’t appear to be the better of the pair.

Is it too early to say .... Hughes out. Wasting a season letting him finish his contract. Almost any experienced L2 manager would make more of this group. He can take Gent with him.

Here is his views
Hughes reaction as Bantams fans let rip after Walsall loss
By Simon Parker20 mins ago
MARK Hughes had no arguments with the angry reaction after City’s home loss to Walsall.
There were loud boos at the final whistle after the Saddlers came from behind to claim a 3-1 win at Valley Parade.
It was the second home game in a row when they have been booed at the end - and Hughes, who was targeted by some fans, could understand the frustration.
“There are always boos when we lose,” said Hughes. “We have to accept that.
“They were justified today because the second half wasn’t where we needed to be and we conceded poor goals.
“I was reasonably happy up to the point where we scored the goal. But unfortunately, we conceded two before we went in at half-time.
“The second half was a disappointment because we couldn’t really gain a foothold in the game. It was very easy for them just to clear their lines and get up the pitch.
“We found it very difficult to create anything of note. We looked a little bit leggy, maybe some of the guys who had played during the week looked five per cent down on where they needed to be and were half a yard short.
“We just need to find a consistent level.
“Last weekend we were excellent at Newport. Today we were not, so those peaks and troughs need to level out.”
City had scored first through Andy Cook’s penalty - although neither manager felt the pull on Rayhaan Tulloch by former Bantam Joe Riley was in the box.
But Walsall quickly equalised through Liam Gordon after nobody closed him down.
Aramide Oteh, the ex-City loan striker, then made it 2-1 right on half-time from a corner.
City conceded a third to Freddie Draper from another corner early in the second half and the game fizzled out to the anger of the crowd.
Hughes added: “In the end it just petered out for us and we’ll have to learn from it. The set-play work wasn’t where we needed it to be today.” -

If last week's result was at home then today's result was away I think that would change the mood a bit as the majority of fans only see the team at home so judge them on that. The issue for Hughes is that after the 2 home wins to start where we weren't the best but they were something to build on we had a flat 1st half against Grimsby then any momentum we got from the 2nd half was gone in the Harrogate match then today within 3 minutes of scoring we are level. Teams now know if they keep us quiet until half time they are very much in the game and the crowd will turn and with that pressure builds on the players.

I assumed the last option, 'Give Him Until The End Of His Contract' covered both him leaving or staying beyond that time. However, if you feel an additional option should be provided, I'm happy to add one.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

Hughes will not walk. The club are no where near terminating his contract.
We're still paying off Stuart and Adams, we cant afford three ex-managers and employing another.
Its stick and not twist im afraid.
