I don't care enough nowadays, however, did an end of season review happen and who decided and then authorised a change of half the squad? We need to add 6 or 7 quality players to the existing squad ( total of around 23-25 players). Instead we got one good player (Pattison) and an unbalanced squad.

 

You only have to look at the starting 11 on Saturday to see just how awful our summer recruitment was. Only one player started that game who wasn't here last season.

 

Too right, people have short memories when it suits. Every club in the UK does the same .

 

Wasn't this the warning Stoke fans have us??
1 good season then once into season 2, baffling signings, bloated squad and relegation???

Abysmal manager. Couldn't take any more after listening to his 'woe is me' shit at the start of his spiel. A massively deluded and arrogant man. Thank God he's gone. If anything, the period since his departure has put how bad he was into sharp focus.

 

Yet the same group of players seem to be giving that little bit extra for Alexander than they gave Hughes.
Lewis and Cook were abysmal whilst Hughes was in charge this season and if truth be known it didn’t get much better under McDonald.
Alexander didn’t start great and the Notts game was the worst I’ve seen for a decade.
What he’s done since then I don’t know but something has changed in the players mentality and not so much in their ability.
Managers don’t get themselves sacked, the players do that

Suspect Gent's reputation will be rehabilitated by the end of the season

 

The jury is out for a while yet. Jan and the summer will mark his time in the role. If the (expected to be limited anyway) isn’t so good for GA , then I’m afraid it’s down to Gent.
I’m not sure GA will permit him the free recruitment role he presumably had under MH?

 

We can’t judge Gent’s role in the MH era until we have seen the players he brought in under the GA era. So far we are seeing a completely different team and tactics.

 

He was actually involved in them deals which makes it even worse i mean Gent is bad enough bringing some of that shite to the table but Hughes is even worse allowing some of that shite to grace our club ...........just hope GA is gonna be a lot more tougher in his recruitment all well and good having a big squad but its no good if 60% are fooking crap
