Great movement, Saw a lot of times he was making some great runs but we liked to play down the wings at the time so wasn't heavily involved in general play. Think he only started about 2 of those 16 games so wouldn't read too much into it. came unfit (think he was injured in pre season previous to us signing him?). Signed him deadline day and never got going. I'm sure we'd have seen a better player if he'd have been signed earlier in the season and came in better nick.

 

He was crap for us. And I mean C R A P. but alot of strikers who come here go off the boil, if he then got into the Sheff Utd and Reading teams, I wouldn't look too much into his time here with us

 

he wasn't crap for us, by any stretch, we just didn't use him to his strengths. he struggled for game time too.

he's a decent player, and lethal finishing. good signing.

 

I went to his debut game down in Gillingham, he came off the bench and made some fantastic movement in injury time to beat a defender and force him to bring McNulty down and take the red card. He excited me just in the 10 minutes or so he was on the pitch, then we barely saw him again. Should have got more starts imo.

Better asking Coventry or Pompey fans about him tbh.

 

He's played in their League Cup matches this season.

 

I think he will do OK for Sunderland his brief spell here was stop start with injuries. He is a natural goalscorer

Arrested last week by police investigating allegations of match fixing,according to an article in the Sunday Times.
Released pending further enquiries.
