Man Ure fans crying on Radio 5

    Just hearing Man Ure fans bleating on Radio 5 live phone in. They want Pochitino now as Ole isn't good enough.

    The arrogance of their fans is a long standing trait and always irked me. Along with L666ds fans as well.

    They stand en masse at away games like they are somehow special and always sing you have come just to see Utd.

    Now they are supporters of a mid to upper table PL team. And its hurting them like hell. Good.

    And with Man City now being the only team in Manchester its hurting even more.

    Long may it continue.

    Why is it arrogance? Because they demand success?

    Leeds in the 60's, apparently cheats but also arrogant.
    Liverpool in the 70's and 80's, hated universally mainly due to arrogance.
    Man Utd in thr premier league era, hated due to perceived arrogance.
    Chelsea's and Mourinho especially with the ruski revolution, hated due to perceived arrogance.

    There's a pattern and it's not arrogance, it's plain and simple jealousy.

    You conveniently ignore my point just like @Fordy117@Fordy117 often does.

    Its arrogant to believe you are more entitled than all the other fans of football clubs up and down the land that you can stand en masse in seated areas.

    They are not.

    Nothing to do with demanding success. Just plain old arrogance.

    Plain and simple they have been knocked down a few pegs and they don't like it.

    You mean a bit like Bradford City fans when they mock other lg2 teams crowds and sing songs like "my garden shed is bigger than this"?
    Or when we complain on the forums that we shouldn't be "losing to small teams like Cheltenham"?

    As for the standing up part, nearly every teams fans do it and, in fact, there's a dozen lads in the block next to me on Midland Road that always stand every home game.

    Are they all arrogant or don't they meet your narrative of hating Man Utd?

    Thanks for the effort but you are still missing the point I made. Man ure fans stand en masse at away games -as you already know but choose to ignore-not 12 at home games like you refer to.

    Oh, so you're trying to tell me that you're allowed to ignore stadium rules if there's only a few of you. It's only when it's everyone that it's a problem? :unsure:

    Surely it's either against the rules or it's not? You can't just isolate one set of fans because you don't like the team they support.

    Why are you acting like United fans are the only ones who do that? It's a problem with away fans in general, its the most hardcore of fans that generally go to away games and its a culture that largely gets passed down from the older generations. Not mention its easier to help the team by singing their lungs out standing

    Its one aspect of thier superiority complex that I was using.
    I know other clubs do it but they just get on my nerves for some reason. Then bleating out how great they are and they deserve success blah blah blah.
    Just my opinion.

    Not at all. Standing in seated areas is annoying and against stadium rules. The Bradford dozen you refer to should be dealt with by the stewards but clearly arent for some bizarre reason.
