I think everyone but Spurs fans would agree with this. I felt the end of the game was amazing and was spoilt by VAR overturning the goal. Don't get me wrong, the decision was correct but it just isn't football.

Wow, what a game that was. So nice to actually enjoy a game of football for a change, I had forgotten what that felt like.

Some game indeed.
As for the Llorente goal, can VAR please look at the truly criminal defending by Laporte? And Alderweireld for ducking his head when Sterling put City 1 nil up.
Anyhow, brilliant nonetheless. VAR won me over more and more tonight -
Some horrible defending on the night. As d
Dave said ducking/turning away from shots is kids stuff, and england full back trippier showing and letting sterling inside on to his good foot to smash it in corner. Ive spent 40 weeks screaming at NKP, Chicksen and Mellor for doing that.
Right call last night but VAR is going to ruin football as we know it. The spontaneity of celebrating a last minute winner will soon get taken away by wondering if the goal will be disallowed. It will end like rugby league where every goal(try) will be checked because a) refs will be scared of missing something and b) defenders will appeal for anything -

Superb game of football. Much needed after the season we've just endured!

I believe in the near future there will be technology woven into players strip that cameras can pick up on and make an instant decision, a little like the cameras that track runners during a race. -

Great game. As for VAR I think it adds a new dimension to the entertainment. City still celebrated the last minute winner, so none of that was lost, it’s just it was subsequently overturned just as quickly as if the ref went to consult his linesman. Personally I thought it was a good advert for VAR and an incredible game overall.

The offside call was pretty quick, the Llorente goal took forever. Love the goal line technology, brilliant seeing how that has been accepted by all the players, no arguing, nothing. VAR can do offside double quick too. Not sure about the rest of it. How they decide what is a missed foul by an official is beyond me, just looking at judo throws in the box at corners.
