Harrogate away and people are acting like they might miss the European Cup final or something

 

The problem with the queue at the ticket office for games where there’s only 500 tickets is that if the ticket queue opens at 10am and people have been queuing longer than you and you get there after it opens , you’re already too late.
It’s pot luck whether you’re one of the first 150-200 people lucky enough to join the queue at the ticket office at precisely the right time.
On that basis I think stopping fecking moaning is probably best on this occasion.

What do you want the club to do? Bow down to your complete brilliance as a fan and put you at the front of every queue?

No system is perfect for everyone, some find it better to get their shit together and queue in the cold, some find it better to get their shit together and log on to the website and keep hitting F5 until the system is open.

Club made the rules at the start of the season, limited number of tickets and some are going to be disappointed whether it’s Harrogate or Chelsea away or Reading at home.

Away loyalty points aren’t perfect, the fan who lives local to Exeter gets the same points as someone travelling from Bradford, and then gets the same access to tickets based on points. Is Rochdale and Oldham midweek more a dedicated fan than one easy trip down the ECML on a Saturday to Stevenage?

Like I say club make the rules, you buy your loyalty card on those terms. No use bleating about it mid season when you can’t get your own way.

I think most reasonable adults would see it that way. Some you win, some you lose.

 

No argument with that. Buy the ticket then where the capacity is less than 1,000 take your chance. Simple really. If you only bought the loyalty card intending to go to one match, it's irrelevant. You paid your money.

 

Simple innit.

1. Check out the away capacity
2. Find out whose is lowest (ie Harrogate @650 etc)
3. Only sell that number of loyalty cards.

Anything else is the club being greedy.

 

Man United away scheme is simple .
Can only buy online . No phone line or ticket office
Have to be a paid away member .
Put your bank details in when applying and check on a certain date to see if your successful or not .
Non of this Bradford city ringing round too see who’s been to most games nonsense

Bit of a farce to be honest ….I have a priority away card and was unable to get to Vp this morning. Logged on at 11.45 got the tickets in my basket but I could nt pay …. I refreshed and it said sold out …..@12.01.I have attended every away league game so far this season ….my plan was to do em all but that ain’t happening now. Although Im disappointed I accept the situation. Maybe loyalty points should have been taken into consideration , and I would have got one HaHa.
No point moaning ……..what I will say is there’s plenty available for tomorrow night ……but how many will be there ¿……I know I willl ….. Up the chickens

 

Points were never on the agenda for this season, everyone knew that. Get over it.

 

I completely disagree with you on this, you cannot change the terms just to please a few angry uber fans like yourself .
they sold priority tickets and should be used the correct way no-one should get priority over the 1000 priority holders they should sllhave equal chance .
I've only missed Exeter and Newport this season and missed out on hgate town tickets , I've no issue with that ,you pay your money ypu take your chance ..

Get off your high horse and relax.

I'll be cheering from the home end at town and will do the same at Sutton if needed.

The clue is in the wording. Priority does not equate to guarantee, it only prioritises you over someone who doesn't meet the criteria for being a priority, eg. someone who doesn't have a priority ticket. Without reading terms and conditions I'd make an educated guess in those terms and conditions that nowhere does it state that having a priority ticket guarantees you a ticket.

 

Are people suggesting that in this day and age tickets should only be sold in person? BCAFC prefer online sales as they get to add websales charges and postage on top rather than selling them at the ticket office. 600 tickets with a £2 surcharge on them is far better than 600 tickets sold at the ticket office which costs them money for the extra staff shift for that day.

 

There will be a few in the home end I suspect.

 

I’ve got to say loyal, whatever the rights or wrongs of the situation, you’ve reached parody status now. By the way, I do hope you get a ticket.
