That clearly- if true - is not a budget to meet the owners aspiration of promotion in 3 years to the champiinship

 

The clubs membership of the league is only worth anything if the league agree to the transfer of the ownership of it. There is no automatic transfer of it to the bank/company that loans the cash so that is an added risk to it. Registrations again are dependent on the membership so they have risk attached too.
To be honest I’m not sure of which clubs have actually borrowed substantial sums, enough to purchase the club, except Man Utd who even after the borrowing had substantial income streams so the loans were probably classed as low risk due to their ‘guaranteed’ income from PL and sponsorship etc. I don’t think we could be classed as similar, they would only have to look at our recent financials to see that we struggle to get sponsorship etc

 

The owners have "aspirations of promotion to the championship" ?

Have they not seen the team edin has assembled.

To think the germans have a reputation of not having a sense of humour.

Think it will be a while before the owners get their aspirations out again for public display.

 

We will have to wait and see(might not be long). I think Edin intends to keep his promise, I'm not so sure he is able to do so. Had it not been City, Stuart would have walked. If this guy gets the same interference, he will walk. Cummon Edin, surprise us all(apart from Park, How, Keefley and Banbrotam)
