    This is the EFL you’re talking about. They thought the whole nation was wailing about the Queen, when most football fans were just gutted the games were off.

    The Sheff Weds paper guy seemingly hints that there have already been discussions around moving the fixtures to Sunday. There are going to be some issues around that, as usually that weekend all 3 leagues have separate KO times, when all the final fixtures needs to start at the same time for their leagues. That reorganising isn't usually done for a few months from now (or made public at least), but local policing might have a nightmare on their hands in some areas if all the final games are moved to Sunday. Probably 12pm, 2pm & 4pm KOs that day if it happens.

    Absolutely no chance that matches will go ahead on Coronation Day. They will expect street parties, beacon lighting, and the lark. The Met will be far too stretched and calling in thousands of officers from other forces so it just won't happen.

    I'd normally be cheesed off if it was postponed, but if it is played on Sunday 7th then is it really a big inconvenience?

    Only problem I can see is working with a hangover after celebrating our promotion, but other than that no issues with a Sunday game. :)
