Just noticed Lee Turnbull has landed at Scunthorpe as Chief Operating Officer and is taking over the departing Chairman's role.

He's had the same amount of clubs as we've had league home wins!

Strange scenario Jon. Clearly Swann (as my posts around #509 and after) has had enough. He is apparently making a statement over the weekend and has been looking to sell. That throws up two issues. For Turnbull why leave what I assume is a decent job at Posh after a month if the Club he joins is the subject of a sale and new owners don't want him. For Scunny, as I suggested previously, they look bound for NL next season and you would have thought they would have sacked Hill and Tony Mac in an effort to avoid relegation. Hill has a win rate of less than 7.5% and has been sacked or contract not renewed at Rochdale, Barnsley, Tranmere and Bolton although he had a 50% win rate at Tranmere, best of his career. It seems to me Scunny won't pay staff off and just let them disappear upon relegation, end result, who knows?
If there is no sale of the Club, as I said before, I have worries for Irons fans for the future, it all seems to be headed in the wrong direction.

    Yeah, good points.

I don't mind that they haven't sacked Hill though, Grimsby stuck by Paul Hurst despite dreadful form upon relegation, and who knows, if they get a spot in the play offs, all bets are off. Could get them back up!

Very worrying that Swann is potentially bailing after messing up so badly. He's had years at it, though, so I guess he has to accept he's part of the problem.
