Don't think it is to accommodate Derbyshire, don't forget Harratt also went back.
One thing i will take from last night , the scorer of both Rochdale goals is older than Derbyshire.

    Look at Angol and Sutton.

Neither have played until Levi broke into the team recently, but did you hear a peep from either player?

    Look at Songo'o.

He's had a few sub appearances, any sign of disharmony from him?

First and foremost if you're a professional football player, you make sure every single paying fan in that stadium understands you're giving 100 % for that club.

You're allowed to be unhappy with the manager. You're allowed to be unhappy with the owner. But you make it clear you are playing for that shirt, that club, those fans, and you make it clear every time you step on the pitch.

Don't waste my time as a paying fan if you're going to have a hissy fit and dismiss the captaincy to the club I've watched for 20 years. AOC threw it all down the toilet the day he slung the armband away. He can do one for me, now, and in the future. Not interested. Unprofessional clown, don't want him associated with this club.

I don't want to hear stories about how daddy came down to the training ground because you didn't get played. Cole, Gibson and Harratt were failed by their parents, but each one had the chance to say "you know what, I'm going to work harder".

Were they badly advised? For sure. Can they make up for it elsewhere? Absolutely, they can. But not until they understand the people around them are morons holding them back. Who's advising most players? Who's telling them don't be a total idiot? Surround yourself with those people.

Don't be a moaner. Don't be entitled. Try your best. That's all fans ask. If you can't do that, personally, you're not for me.

Good business by the club and he's gone back darn sarf which should please him, the lad said in that interview at the end of last season this coming season would be a big challenge unfortunately for us he's not met that challenge so thanks Lee and good luck it's the best for both parties.

I thought all players basic wages when injured was paid by the clubs insurance and topped up by their own if they have any , It shouldn't cost the club a penny ... Remember most players get decent bonusses that will be wiped out if not playing so in affect will be earning a lot less than when playing

The AOC armband incident was blown out of all proportion. Prefer to remember the many last minute blocks and goal line clearances he threw himself into. That said it was probably the right time for him and the club to part ways

Complete waste of time and money resigning him on the first place. Made no sense at all.

Good luck to him, got frozen out this season and I haven't heard a single complaint out of the lad, seems a good type.

I think if he can stay injury free at Sutton, he could do good things there.

He's still only 28, so 18 months of good form, and who knows? He could resurrect his career.

As has been said I'm sure the club will have some sort of insurances in what can be a very risky business in terms of assets. And nobody seems to ask of the mental wellbeing of players, in the case of Reeves, who was out over a year and more if I remember. Human being at the end of the day, not someone's plaything to kick when they're having a tantrum.

I don't really care less about Angol going, but my lad won't be right chuffed. He liked him that much he paid an extra £16 out of his birthday money to have Angol's name & number on the back of his replica shirt, against my advice....:x3:

What a lovely human being you are. I'm guessing the likes of Angol and Reeves would rather have not been injured than accused of being a work shy grifter by some guy in the internet.

Not a big surprise really. Shame he didn't kick on from the end of last season, when he looked really good and played a big part in our end of season revival.
He is a very skilful player but he's lost the pace that used to go with the trickery.

His known injury record was always going to come back to haunt us.
You can’t have a player who seemed reluctant to sprint, knowing they have dodgy hamstrings.
Not a major loss for me.

That's exactly what the problem was, you could see him physically hold back on running for through balls or reluctant to stretch for balls he wouldn't think twice about when fit.
Good luck in his future endeavours, the guy deserves a break with all the injuries he's had.

    A) He didn’t chose to get injured
    B) He was the one player with a bit of quality for us last year
    C) Its not his fault he got pushed on to the wing when he’s clearly a better target man
    D) Even if he was fully fit, not a single person would be saying they’d want Angol to play instead of Cook, who is our top scorer this season
    E) When he is fit; he isn’t getting many minutes. How exactly is he doing us a disservice by getting off our wage book?

Surprised he got a league club to be honest with his fitness record. Fair play to the lad.

Oh maybe we let him sort out a move and didn't want to risk him get a long term injury.
