Not really.
Your each way terms would have been a third or quarter of the odds, and unless they all won the league you’d only get paid on each way.
Given that the majority were favourites your odds wouldn’t have been much above evens for each way places, definitely well odds-on for MC.
A lot of people are under the false plethora that if they get 5 firsts and a second on an each way Acca that it’s better than 6 thirds. In fact it’s not. It’s worth the same value.

It would essentially become a 5 fold accumulator with each selection between evens and 2/1, with MC at about 1/4 on.
It would be a mid-3 figure pay out. Think @bantamdave41 work(ed/s) for a bookies perhaps he could confirm.NorthernMonkey likes this. -

As an example. A £1 each way double.
You have team A at 8/1 (Place odds 1/5 1, 2, 3) and team B at 12/1( Place odds 1/5 1, 2, 3)
1. A WIN double at the odds quoted so 8/1 and 12/1, thus 9 x 13
Returns £117
2. A PLACE double at the fractional odds quoted 8/5 and 12/5, thus 2.6 x 3.4
Returns £8.84
So, if both teams in the example win there league, a total return of £125.84.
If 1 (or more) of the teams do not win the league but both teams finish in the top 3 in respective league, returns £8.84
Same principle occurs in accumulative bets of 3 or more teams.
Hope that helps.NorthernMonkey likes this. -

So if it were quarter odds with 5 selections, it would work out around roughly a tenth of the bet? Is that right? -
I like to do Each way / All each way if I do this type of bet - if the odds are big then you will get winners mixed in with 1/4 odds selections.
ultimately the bet splits each time. If that makes Sense. -
Early days of course but I'll be going Boro, Ipswich and Northampton I think

Cant see past Man City for the PL. Liverpool will have a go but 4pts already hard to make up on them given how close last few have been.
Norwich always seem to find enouhh for Championship. Nobody else jumps out.
Ipswich my pick for L1. Peterborough were a decent outside bet at 16s but guessing come in.
L2 is a needle in a hay stack. Unpredictable. Teams near bottom at Xmas have gone up before. Orient bought well and started well though. Maybe Salfords year.
