So the season is now well underway. I usually like to wait until at least 10 games have been played before putting this poll out.

I was so excited to get to Valley Parade the other night against Middlesborough, I enjoyed my time in Bradford apart from the actual football!

I know I'm very positive, but bloody nora, I've seen people play better than us having a kick about in the park to be honest.

I just voted in the poll about Mark Hughes, I'm inclined to say it's time to go, but I voted to give him a few more matches. Problem is at our club, the issues stem from the very top in my opinion. I wish I could see an overhaul of the club to get rid of Stefan Rupp too, he's clearly not interested in the club from what I can gather and correct me if I'm wrong, but he's not actively investing now is he? Again please correct me if I'm wrong here.

I know what I saw at Valley Parade was a cup game against Championship opposition, but I feel like we barely showed up in that game, even if we had gotten thumped 6-0, I think we should of at least gone for it and tried to play better football, we had nothing to lose, but ended up with one of the most dire and boring performances I've seen myself personally when in attendance at one of the matches.

But, if Hughes stays or goes, I guess only time will tell, you know I'd love nothing more than a massive turnaround with a run of great results, but I'm losing my optimism a little bit, which makes me think, even if we bring someone new in before the new year, I can't see us being up there as playoff contenders given our current form. Our recent form will have a knock on effect as we head towards Christmas, given we aren't picking up enough points in the table.

So, feel free to reply to this and let me know your thoughts and opinions on what I've said above and vote in the poll.

I think we could realistically be stuck at mid-table, if not worse, even if we bring in a new manager. Again I think our problems stem from more just who is in the managers hot seat. So I've voted 13th-18th by Christmas.

I'll allow votes to be changed up until Halloween, then close the poll the same day, then come Christmas we can all look back and see which of us is correct in our league table predictions.

I just wish I was being more positive with my prediction, but I have to be real with what I'm seeing myself on the pitch.

If Hughes is still manager in deep relegation trouble

Whilst the football is crap, I have enough confidence in Hughes to at least pick up 4 points from every three matches.

Under him we rarely lose back to back matches or have sustained very poor results.

On that front, relegation won't become an issue. Not good enough, but not likely to be disastrous.

I think we'll improve slightly to around 10th but I think this will be in spite of Hughes, rather than because of him.

I expect we'll somewhere in the midtable area, whilst performances haven't been great apart from Newport we've still been able to pick up points and we've shown we can come from behind in games. To be in or around the relegation we would probably be needing to be on less than 20 points and to be on that we would have to pick up less than 10 points from 13 games.

The Newport game showed that we will occasionally play teams that have a massive off day.
This division is so mediocre that when we do we might just be good enough to get 3 points.
It won’t happen enough to be top 6 so I’ve gone 8-12.

That’s obviously based on the standard of the division and not on the tactics we continue to use.

It's quite alarming that we now have a run of hard fixtures, 5 of our next 8 games leading to December are against sides who are or tipped to be up there...

    Wimbledon
    Notts
    Wrexham
    Swindon
    Mk Dons

Good job we’ve picked up so many points in the last 3 easy home games then;)

We have shown this season that we can beat or get points against the teams up there with draws against Stockport and Mansfield plus being the only team so far to beat Crewe in the league. Games away again top teams suits us more and we can play on the counter attack like we did against Newport. For the promising start MK had they've just lost to Harrogate and drawn against Sutton with 3 of their 4 wins being Doncaster, Colchester and Tranmere, they also only kept 1 clean sheet so they can be go at.

Within a season there is often a good or bad time to play someone. Currently I’d rather play Sutton than Crawley. At some stage it may be reversed. I believe we played away at Stockport and Mansfield at the right time. Stockport have been very slow starters these last 2 seasons. Would n’t want to be playing them right now. Our visit to Mansfield was at the perfect time, they had 11 players missing through injury. Let’s hope when we play the likes of Swindon and Notts County they take a dip in form after both making very impressive starts, If I was anybody I’d fancy playing us right now. I’ll bet that’s what Adkins has used in his build up for the match tonight.

I'm not even bothered anymore about this season as long as we don't go down obviously which I'm sure we won't.
I've written this season off already and would now prefer GA to concentrate on assembling what will be required to push on next season. Sad state of affairs for sure but unfortunately I'm pretty sure I'm far from on my own to be at a very very low point regarding following football.
