    Depends how you look at it. One adult and two kids under 17 is free. You'd normally pay £25-30 for that.
    I appreciate that if you're going on your own as an adult it's relatively expensive for a league cup game. But compare that to POTG for the league equivalent for the same opposition.

    I've just had a quick look at what other clubs are charging for their 1st round ties. Most haven't put tickets on sale so far, but the ones that have announced their prices are:
    • Salford City v Doncaster Rovers - Adults £10
    • Derby County v Chesterfield - Adults £11
    • Walsall v Exeter City - Adults £12
    • Rotherham United v Crewe Alexandra - Adults £14
    • Fleetwood Town v West Bromwich Albion - Adults £15
    • Grimsby Town v Bradford City - Adults £20
    Only one club, so far, has decided to charge more than £15!

    Yeah, if you have kids under 18 it makes the price palatable but there's no way I'd pay £20 for a first round league cup game if I wasn't talking my kids.

    Mind you, I'm still not going anyway. Grimsby is an absolute hell hole with a crap view, shite facilities and you can barely get a pint close enough on the way in either.
