    It certainly hasn't been forgotten by me! And it's not about individual players and wiping the slate clean but rather the structure and size of the squad. And that should be one lesson we've all learned from. If we have a repeat of last season in having an inadequate squad, the finger of blame will rightly be pointed at the owners.

    At the start of last season, the squad was big enough but it certainly lacked quality and depth for when injuries, illnesses and lack of form kicked in. And that isn't just speaking with hindsight. Those problems were evident last season before a ball was even kicked although many chose to ignore it. And the way things are shaping up so far with 5 weeks to go before the season kicks-off, last season's issues are still there. There's time to get some quality and cover into the club and I trust we do. But if we start this coming season with the same quality of squad as last season, I don't see us being in any better position at the end of the new season than last season.

    Last season wasn't unacceptable etc.

    Steven Gerrard on last season at Ranagers: "We go on pre season, last season no good enough. I will see who is up for the fight and I will be honest some won't be here for long"

    Gerrard is a winner though! Collins a yes man! Massive difference

    It’s alrifht doing it at Rangers where players are begging to play for the club and under Gerrard.

    We can’t rip apart a side at this level with not much money to spend because we finished 11th.

    Plus Gerrard was a winner on the pitch. Maybe not off it

    This is the concern.

    It better be the case that if Collins says a player isn't good enough then he's gone, otherwise our squad will recede and rot.

    There are some very bitter people about who simply cannot let go - imagine being their partner!!!

    Doyle, Sattlemaier, Raeder, McMahon, Dieng, Law, Gilliead have all gone - plus a bunch of loans who came in January that failed to stop the rot. Two managers responsible for last season have also gone and 8 new players, with more expected to follow.

    It is a fresh start and last season has gone.

    it should be remembered that player like Vincelot and NKP and Wyke helped us to the play off final the season before last.
    One bad spell doesn’t define players.Witha slightly less workoad I am sure they will contribute this season

    I think you meant last season was unacceptable.

    Why do you think we haven't much money to spend?

    I'll tell you why? Because our main backer brought the club for his mate and has no interest in funding the club.

    We've money!

    As for Collins I am not interested in him being the players mates. The players down tools last season and the performances were a let down at the back end of the season and it's not forgotten by fans.

    I want to hear fighting talk.
