    How on earth could last nights attendance be given as 11,075 !!???

    We’ve been told that our attendances include all season ticket holders whether they attend or not. We have sold over 14,500 season tickets so every attendance should be 14,500 as a minimum !!

    Maybe 3500 have handed in their ST's!

    If they are quoting actual numbers in attendance last night instead of ST's sold, there was no way that there were over 11000 fans there last night. Its years since I have seen as many empty seats for a league match in the lower kop, as there were last night

    REALLY ??

    FWIW, I would prefer the 'actual' figures, and not the 'receipted' ones.
    It also serves to show Edin how MUCH enthusiasm has been lost during his tenure.

    So ...... Let the truth be told, and heard, I say ! :)

    It is the precise figure which is interesting. I sat in the Kop last night, as a friend had three spare season tickets (out of four). I could see my block in the Main Stand, it was virtually empty. I am in a group of six season tickets and was the only one to attend. So 2 out of a possible 10. The ground looked about a third full. I start to question the accuracy of the T&A if it cannot explain where they got the figures from.
    No mention of the exodus of fans which startedwhen they scored their fourth.
    The pub which I go to pre match was really quiet @Ulysses S Grant@Ulysses S Grant and his friend were the only ones in the room!!
    The whole entity which is Bradford City is in utter chaos!

    I wasn't there, idlebantam .......... However, our capacity is 25k, and various pics show the ground appearing less than half full. Yet these photo shots can be deceptive, and perhaps 11k isn't too far away from the truth ?

    Cannot see any of the upper Kop from where I sit, but looking around the rest of the ground, it was no more than a third full. I would say actual attendance last night, no more than 8000

    But here's a little nostalgia ........... Remember the old Supermarket gimmick .......... 'Guess how many balloons', in a crate full of various shaped inflated balloons ?
    Well years ago, the group I was with used to 'play' this at Away games ......... 'Guess the crowd !' The 'winner' got free pints from the rest, once back in the pub in Bradford. :)

    (We hated Gerry the Geek ........ He seemed to win every second outing. Little wonder he later became a pisshead ? )

    The consensus around my group was between 8k and 9k. It was never 11k unless 2k were staging a protest somewhere unseen!

    This is how bad it was. Even the bloke who sells bags of sweets on Midland Road didn't bother turning up. Grim night all round - no points and no jelly snakes o_O

    What ever the attendance was, all the empty seats just show how feed up the fans are, in what is happening with the club. Hopefully Edin and co. will see the ground photos.

    By no means, but it does matter for those of us who keep records.

    I too thought we'd sold some 15,000 season tickets. If attendances have always been reported based on tickets sold, not actual bums on seats, then for consistency's sake that should continue through the season. Changing the method halfway through messes up the season's records, and makes one wonder why the change has been made.
