Just looked up our last 46 games to give us an idea of where we stand over a full season, so starting with Plymouth at home last season though to Saturday are stats looks as such.

    Played 46 - Won 12 - Drawn 7 - Lost 27 - GF 44 - GA 79 - Points 43.

It's worth noting that of those 12 wins 5 were prior to January 2018 since January our form actually looks like this

    Played 37 - Won 7 - Drawn 7 - Lost 23 - GF 29 - GA 64 - Points 28.

I know we have been absolutely dire but until I actually looked into the figures and with it being split into two different seasons with the start of last season masking alot of last years lost of form.

I'm already resigned to relegation and as you can see from the above the reason question is how far adrift will be cast adrift at the bottom of the league.

No team in the last 7 seasons has stayed up with less than 50 points and for us to gain 50 points we need 40 points from 30 games which is starting to get close to winning 1 & drawing 1 of every 3 games till the end of the season.

Contrast this to the previous 46 games we played.

    Played 46 - Won 22 - Drawn 14 - Lost - 10 - GF 65 - GA 47 - Points 80.

Leyton Orient are the obvious comparison - Play off final losers in the 2014, Relegated 2015 then they just kept falling. If it wasn't for the early good form last season we already would be in league 2, and with this shower of shit, we would probably be propping that league up.

Thank you for cheering me up this Monday morning.

But I agree, we are already down. Im Not looking forward to seeing how many points behind second bottom we are come the end of the season. It could be really really embarrassing (even more than it already is).

The fans just need to try harder, obviously.

And then there's the weather, too.

You clearly missed the chance of an hat trick, there ............ Did you forget that our preseason was so organised, intense and head on, that the players couldn't keep up with it, thus our many injuries ? :)

It is strange the weather has been blamed, however the pitch was shit the year before, infact if anything since the weather has been good and the pitch been improved we have been worse.
