Hi to all the fantastic supporters who make the atmosphere great at VP, I can’t help thinking why has the drummer and all the vocal supporters moved to the NWC from KBlock in the KOP, it’s not the same now in the KOP since they moved. We need another drummer in the KOP to get the atmosphere back.

It needs a loud hailer like the Crystal Palace supporter. It certainly gets their crowd going!

I think the noise section is better where it is.

For effect it needs to be in the kop, Hiding it away in the corners was a really bad idea. Should be moved back

They aren't hiding away. They have great acoustics in that stand and it echos out onto the pitch. They are lower down too rather than right at the back.

out of interest do you sit in the Kop as people I’ve spoken to in every other stand say it sounds better since they have moved

No am in Sunwin stand so not only hard to see but the sound seems much less, Visually it looked both stunning and intimidating when players came out or scoring in the kop

Kinda agree with this, it doesn't really work in the corner. It was as flat as a fart in VP against Walsall despite 15,000 being in the ground.

Bad idea to move them into NW corner.
As Rogered Tart says " Flat as a fart ".
Bet they move back to the kop next season.

But who moved them was it a request from city or did they just decide to move themselves

So they didn’t have an option then, seems strange when it’s usually the supporters who decide which season ticket seats they buy.

of course they had the option. The club designated that area one the NWC the area for the singers. It is upto the individuals if they go there. Probably wouldn’t get the drum into the Kop though as you need permission off the club

No problem with the atmosphere in the lower kop whatsoever.

Any issues with the atmosphere aren’t down to where anyone is sat imo, it’s down to playing drab league 2 football against teams that bring a taxi full of fans. If we were going well in league 1 and playing the likes of Bolton and Sunderland I think we’d soon see a big change in atmosphere.

Maybe Yorkshire folk are just drab. That's my outside perspective on my old city.

There was no problem with noise against Stevenage, but I have to agree I thought they made more noise when at the back of the Kop with the noise cascading out and down from the back of the upper Kop.
