Yeah imagine being a striker for Bradford City for almost a whole year and not scoring 1 goal of any description (disclaimer he may have scored in training or pre match warm up)

1. Good luck to the lad he was amazing against us in that one game against stevenage 3 years ago (remember when Tim Dieng looked really good against Guiseley?)

If Guthrie was any good then he wouldn’t be at Vale

 

Let's be honest, Tim Dieng was no kind of a City legend but he's a waaaaaay better player, for us and others, than Guthrie

 

Lol yes that comparison is harsh on Dieng who wasn't that bad but people did get over excited about the Guiseley pre season friendly!

I just couldn't of a decent - bought on the basis of one performance - example! Now thinking maybe Tom Doherty, was he good against us once then signed and was really awful!

 

Ahh yes the age old catch all excuse for shit players!

Who is this Guthrie that took them apart when playing for Stevenage? Did they get the wrong one?

 

Guthrie is 9/5 to score anytime tonight. That's some short odds for someone who is dog shit and hasn't scored in well over a year.

For comparison Rowe and Cook are both priced 12/5 to score tonight.

 

The odds are just based on what position people are playing in at this level, then aggregated to the team's likelihood of winning.

Without looking, the price is probably based on Port Vale being at home?

Doubt he will be anywhere near the squad come end of April
Dropped today and not even warming the bench
Somebody at Port Vale will be in deep trouble actually paying for him

 

I get the feeling Guthrie is paying them to play.
