Just to the side of us in C block. Not sure what kicked it off. I saw Charlie in Wetherspoon's and he tried to explain it as he was in the middle of it but alas I didn't have my enigma machine with me to translate gobbledygook.

 

Was it the same blokes as last season arguing over someone cheating with their Mrs? Chris or something?

 

Looking at the individuals involved from afar, they certainly looked like "characters" shall we say

 

It was Fordy arguing with someone about the consequences of training at a school

 

There was a few arguments in K block. The football factory pondlife at the back sitting in folks seats.

They are an embarrasment when they carry on like that.

 

Someone in our seats when we arrived and they moved to the row behind we pointed it out. Row behind turned up asked them to move, and they went a few rows down. Five mins later, same thing happened before they disappeared out the back. Can't be that hard to find the right seat

 

Counting to 10 is difficult for some, and the alphabet might as well by Egyptian ?

 

Guess they were just taking their chances that some ST holders don’t turn up. I’d do the same if my actual seats were shit.

 

It was about 15 feet from me, I was first seat by the stairs about 4 or 5 rows back in the blocks to the side.

There was a bloke and his son, I'd say about 50ish and 30ish having a few words with a bloke who was with his missus, I'd say the bloke was well into his 40s who were a row and about 3 or 4 seats to the right of them, all looked like they might have had a few pre match.

Couldnt teally hear anything happen then all of a sudden something triggered both and the son and the bloke on the row infront launched for each other, in the process knocking over the guy in his 40s missus and then they started bumping and nudging everyone within rows. Which caused everyone to then kick off. The dad and son were grabbing and throwing punches, other tried tried swinging himself. Fans broke them up and some other fans got angry because the blokes were swinging near their children so a few more then got moved aside by other fans.

Security guy took out the dad and son to the back of the kop, some stewards had the fella and his missus behind the goal to calm them down. The guy infront of me was at the men's when it was calming down, the 40s fella then starts sprinting up the stairs into the kop, bloke infront of me comes back from the toilets and says they've all caught up with each other by the kiosks and are throwing fists again.

 

I thought the guy in the hi Viz top doing the undertaker throat cutting motion quite amusing. Reminded me of WWE wrestling.

 

There's some proper whoppers in D block, like the hills have eyes. All the cool kids and good looking blokes sit in C block apparently.

 

Depends whether there’s other like minded fans trying to do the same like at away games.
There are rarely any decent seats left after kick off

 

Well, the wife thinks I've got a look so ill agree with you on the good looking fellas part in block C.

Every season there's 2 or 3 flare ups around that area, rarely gets to the swinging point.

Is this the incident or something after the game the police are referring to here?

There was a bit of a flare up just beginning at the corner of midland road and Holywell ash lane between City fans and the usual mutant away fans that stand at the back of the away end and spend all game shouting at home fans.

I didn't see any actual violence as I went past but the police had their hands full and I wouldn't be surprised if it kicked off.
