Kit 2018/19

Nike kept it simple with theres, Avec shirts sales are more down to an increased number of season tickets. Each to their own I guess

 

That is bang on, Surridge were absolutely dire, Nike weren't much better. Some of the Nike away kits were shocking, the league 2 promotion one was a right abortion. Avec have nailed it for me with their kits so far.

 

Nike kept it too simple - they were template kits. If the general consensus is Avec shirts are crap then I doubt folk would be shelling out £70 for the kids editions or £45 for the adult shirts.

 

People will buy the kit regardless of what it looks like...

 

There is a little black on those sleeves, not the whole sleeve plus the shoulders and a back panel. Plus those shirts are claret and amber (our colours) not claret and black with a little amber.

Does anyone know when it might be launched?

Ok well it is just a kit for 12 months. Reminds me of the time we ditched the stripes for the chequered shirt. Toys out of the pram...

Any road our colours areofficially claret and amber but that is not just exclusive to the shirt, it is the full fit and historically we have had kits with MORE black than either claret or amber. Seen plenty of kits with black shorts and black socks.

 

You haven’t seen the front yet. It could have plenty of Amber on it.

 

All four away shirts they have produced have been decent. It's like someone has actually put a bit of thought into it rather than just pick a generic shirt from a catalogue.

My idea of a City shirt is claret and amber, not claret and black.
Claret and amber stripes on the front will do for me.

The design does not bother me @Sergio Pinto III, it's the colours, City's colours are claret and amber not claret and black with a little token amber.

Totally agree. The all claret kit we had 2007ish was awful.

No, not seen it personally, only the pic posted earlier and that was enough plus previous comments from other posters saying it's all claret with black sleeves with a amber trim.

 

I can only see two figures in that picture. If it is something to do with the new kit is it possible one could be a second and one a third kit? Could the back be left plain to the number is easy to read? Just wondering.
