Because that doesn't suit the argument that ER runs the team. I told some people the truth about Killer when he went but people don't want to hear the truth.

 

This is yet another made up assumption without any evidence whatsoever.

 

Do you have the link as I can't recall your reasons why Kilgallon was not up for team selection given our defenders were leaking goals, genuine question.

Except we will have had to come to a financial agreement with Killa for him to leave. So we may not have saved a load of cash, some yes but not a lot.

 

Didn’t he have the conversation with Killa after the Sheffield preseason game? Not sure if he played again after that

 

I think he played in the Sheffield Wednesday game at Rawdon Meadows, but if Collins had no plans for Killgalon to be part of the set up, why not just put him on the transfer list, that would have given us chance to move (we assume) one of the bigger wage earners off the books and maybe a clause about appearance money it would have given Matt more of a chance to find a club possibly nearer.
Rumour around at the time was he was targeted as on of the last supper players and Edin wanted him out, but we'll assume that's all it was rumour, why after such a disastrous start with potentially Collins job at stake he didn't swallow his pride and play him it did not make sense to most fans,

 

It was a decision made by Collins and backed by Abbot and Drury. They told Edin of their decision who then spoke to Killa and worked with him to find the guy a new club.

 

Because by that time Kill a had been negotiating elsewhere for 3 week. Why would he come back and play for a manager who said he was "Past it" ??

 

Some still buying the Collins story re: Killa.

We know. Our former coach was the one who wanted rid of our best player. After all it is common knowledge that all coaches really want to get rid of the better players. He then told our owner who reluctantly agreed.

 

Not doubting your word but Collins was appointed around 19th June he was well versed with what Matt Killgalon offered to the club,so my question is did they make Matt and his agent aware of their joint decision early so he could be moved out ASAP.

 

Less and less people every week.
