    Interesting interview in the T&A. Sounds like he had a bit of an attitude problem. Falling out with senior players and not getting on with managers. I like the comment about him turning down a trial because he’d already got his holiday booked.

    He mentions other players who were in the youth set up with him. A quick google, shows they all followed a similar path to him - playing a handful of first team games, before being loaned out to neighbouring lower league clubs, then released. Tom Penford is now a chartered accountant.

    Let’s hope he can ensure we’ve got some youth players coming through in years to come.
