    Do you remember the David Mellor "interview". It was awful the way BFG just launched into him, the only time I've ever felt sorry for Mellor. He was up for a genuine discussion, that BFG could easily have disarmed, but he just went straight in and sounded like a right pratt.

    Great memory - yes you might be right! Seem to remember Ole Bjorn Sundgot scoring that day, and Waddle playing for us too.

    No, he left in Feb 1997 so it had been with us for a few moths. It might have been near his last though.

    I remember him being in goal for us but I thought it was the FA Cup game at Main Road, we got there early and as we walked towards the exit of the coach park we asked a couple of bobbies where can we get a drink around here they said take a right at the gates you should be O/K on asking why they said, take a left and your heading down Moss Side, enough said we took a right.

    One of the best games I ever saw as City fan was the 2-3 defeat at Maine Road under Kammy.
    Although we lost, it was a game full of passion, energy and determination. All you can ask from your team.

    Just checked Soccerbase. The FA Cup game was 2-0. But yes, I am thinking of the 2-3 defeat at Marine Road the season before, and it was Rob Steiner who scored both goals, although Sundgot did play.
