Could hear them a lot more than previous seasons so the location is better for that but it was so obvious that it was going to cause issues with those that already sat there. I can not believe that the club didn't plan for this, well I can believe it totally as it has the hallmark of a half baked idea with no fully thought out plan about repercusions

There will be constant scenes right in the middle of the KOP all season, so I've decided not to bother looking when the stewards pile in

Ryan Sparkes the gift that just keeps on giving absolute foreskin of a man -sticks around till it gets hard and is nowhere to be seen

Crappy ideas or planning and just another fail in a catalogue of failures

They are in B block. D block is directly behind the goal, so middle of the kop. So just wondering if there was trouble behind the goal as well?

Was talking to some lads in the Shawarma shop after the game, they'd moved from the NWC to B block to be part of the acclaimed atmosphere section. As alluded to by others, the trouble came from being told to sit down by folk who I quote ' We've.been here for years.'
This problem won't go away, the moving of the flags to B Block came with the caveat that the folk coming with it like to try and create an atmosphere. I'm not really bothered about the regulations of sitting down, every game I've watched on TV at the start.of this season has had large numbers stood up, Leeds fans do it every home game. A case of something that should have been thought about when considering moving the singing section.

No mate wasn't directly behind the goal, more to the left from where I sit

I'm in C block which is also behind the goal.Never been any trouble in all the years I've been there, neither in D block which ironically has fans stood up the entire game.

Atmosphere section ,let’s be honest it’s forced cheesy plastic fake and epitomises everything wrong with football today , so in order to create an atmosphere there seems to a checklist

stone island jumper/jacket / T-shirt allowed to change for conditions

    adidas samba type footwear

    a flag

Knowing the same 4 songs but if you don’t the chorus will do and just mumble the in between bits

    A drum is essential

and you must stand throughout the game , you can only sit at half time

    Have I forgotten anything?

Kinda felt a bit sorry for the young lads when they explained what had gone on. When I was their age we had the single tiered terraced kop so we didn't have folk telling us to sit down. I also understand some fans need to sit down for various reasons and that their enjoyment shouldn't be ruined. But they did know what was going to happen this season, there had been fair warning. I'm not sure I've got any sympathy for folk buying a ticket amongst a group of young lads then complainig when they stand up.

I saw two oldish blokes having a right argument in the new singing section and both were escorted away from their seats at half time by some stewards. I don't think they were disputing whether to sing Knees up mother Brown.

They only knew if they had access to the social media telling them about it. If they have sat there for years and just renew the club didn't write to them or anything.
Apart from that it is still illegal to stand so they have a point to ask the stewards to enforce the ground regulations.
If the club wanted to do it right they should have contacted each season ticket holder and told them they had to move, just cleared them all out. Then cleared and closed the Bantam Bar section behind too as there have been complaints from people in there too, Or maybe just leave them where they were.

It's illegal to stand but I've seen it widespread at every game that's been on TV at the station of this season. Half the ground were stood up today at Ipswich.
