Honestly, I have no idea. I'd expected something to have been announced by now.

 

Agree on all. Considering those points highlighted of course its unrealistic McCall was ever going to be that transparent. However his actions in pre season recruitment and communication was the where he set his stall out and gave us the insight as to where his mindset was. Turns out at such an early stage in the season it’s clear we are in a pretty bad place.

Are you confident the situation in January will be any different to now? Honestly, I’m not. The only difference I feel we will have will be been further into the season and based on performance and results so far, I’m terrified where our league position will be. The only hope I have is we have a few of the stronger squad members back and we can grind out some results and see where we get to.

 

That's fair comment but I'd also suggest given its a small squad as McCall said he preferred then the question should be asked if your leading scorer Novak, your best wing/full back Hosanna , your best number 10 Clarke and what looks like a good potential defender in Staunton who playing regularly get any sort of long term injury bearing in mind were playing 2 games a week have we anything like cover in those positions, the answer is sadly no looking at yesterdays replacements.

 

Was it around this time last season as we struggled around the same position that posters were saying do not worry, plenty of time we will not go down.....

Having drifted our way into one of the most unnecessary relegations ever a few years ago, we now seem to want to repeat the process, only without the safety net of another League division below us. I cannot get my head around the idea that Stuart is either so mid-bogglingly thick, or incompetent, as to be satisfied with the players he's got -- regardless of what has been said publicly. But what does that leave other than pressure from above to cut costs, seemingly at all costs, and not sign the types of players we all know we need? We are now tracking below the guaranteed-safety pace in terms of points and the games through December will be tough.

You should have a spine in the team capable of playing and sustaining L1 football none of the players you mention are anywhere near capable of that

Bang on.You say about a dominant centre half.BRE IS 6 ft 4 and should be that player yet looks frightened to death whenever any comes near him.Hes like a pissed giraffe.All legs and the turning circle of a cruise ship.Just look at the 3rd goal yesterday.Once he realises he has to go confront the attacker his legs are all over the place.Think National league level is quite generous.

 

Knew this squad was poor but when you see it written down and our starting back 5 and front 3 are being scored at an average of 5 or a generous 6 out of ten then that really hits home how awful we are.Wheres the defensive hard man the nasty so and so in midfield,the striker who winds up opposition defenders.All missing and WE knew they were missing months ago

 

Are people seeing a different Callum Cooke to me?? No idea what he offeres apart from the odd decent pass every few games. No better than Pritchard for me.
I don't rate Watt as highly as others too. Again has flashes but doesn't really offer much going forward and his tracking back is awful.
Connor Wood is not the same player this season. Would expect him to leave in the summer.

 

Maybe time for another fans forum.

 

I could run around all day and harass the opposition but I’d still be shit at football. A bit of ability helps.

Both going nowhere without a massive shake up
Until then our proud league status is very much under threat

 

Not his greatest fan to say the least but whilst he is capable of throwing money at us (whether he is or not is another matter) he is not the highest priority to be replaced
At this moment the whole future of the club depends on the new CEO get that one wrong again and the future is very bleak
I would hope that either himself or someone trusted in one of his other companies is far more involved in the selection process than we are thinking, left to Mr Rhodes we will only get a "clone"

 

Think Kenny Black should be getting flack, not just SM.
He'd be a minus 3 IMO.

 

We need to tackle our problems now.

The club doesn't like issues but we to address them.

If Rupp let's the world he's selling
Rhodes leaves
McCall is sacked.

Either way just waiting until the end of the season or a vaccine is entered into every human on earth isn't the answer.

Fans urgently need to understand this club is failing and it won't be Covid that ends it.
