Done nothing to warrant this IMO. The fact there is a thank you thread to Stefan Rupp and now Julian Rhodes just shows the apathy of our fan base.

I agree. JR could have put his feet up and done much more pleasurable things! The fact that he has rolled up his sleeves and got stuck in, shows his commitment to City as he has done before. Of course he has made mistakes, but when we were in the mire he volunteered to come back. I doubt whether he is getting paid, but I wouldn’t blame him if he is. Rahic kicked him out of the door 3 weeks into a 6 months ‘settling in contract’ so I would not be inclined to do the person any favours tbh.

There are many who disagree, but as I say where would we be now if he hadn’t come back? Rupp would have been forced to keep Rahic here while he tried to find the equivalent to come in and sort the chaos and mess out, and hope he had the right person.

 

Them 2 clean slates you refer to who else was prepared to step in at those times instead. Although he is not blamless and certainly guilty to some degree in parts of what went on years ago, however we may have been looking at a AFC Bradford City had he jumped ship when first Richmond screwed us over then Gibb. At least he isn't afraid to help out in testing times shame others couldn't be in the same.

 

I'm not having this Gibb argument yet again, he didn't screw the club it was Rhodes who fecked him over because he wanted his own train set. Let's not get carried away with Rhodes being a saviour he's not but gets away with it because he's " city through and through" despite the fact he was a big Leeds fan till well in to his adult years.

 

I agree @Goose but he must have made himself available when Stefan got in touch.
So for that alone I thank him, and his presence back at Valley Parade possibly made it easier for Stefan to make the decision he did asking Edin to leave the club.

Rhodes is just employed by Rupp as a PR puppet

Rahic is in charge still , there is no resignation, hes still around. Rahic owns https://www.northdata.de/ER+Immobilien+GmbH,+Landshut/HRB+9741 which Immobilien means Real estate in German.

I'm sure Dennis will know better than me, but I'm told the sale of Rahics shares is going through. But he has 3 different directorships with the club and it's a bit complicated to get it all done. Rahic is done with the club in its entirety and thankfully so because he has left an utter mess behind.

 

Rupp doesn't own Fischer seats, he works for them. He was part of a management buy-out who sold to Rockwell Collins Company, which I think is connected to B/E Aerospace.

 

So in conclusion, Rupp owns Fisher Price, but is selling to Rahic and getting TalkTalk in return?

 

As I said earlier Rhodes has his part to blame in our past but he could easily of let it go tits up and we would now be AFC Bradford City but i will ask again where was anyone willing to cough up and try and save the club in our hour of need. Regarding Gibb didn't he want to change quite alot of the original footings at the club and use the flamingo land brand at city and if he was serious of taking over city he could have bought out the Rhodes family at the time but didn't why was that? Also Gibb or the pension fund that he runs that rents the ground to us why won't he/they release a figure to which he would sell the ground back to the owners. Too much to me that doesn't make sense that Gibb could have done but didn't. The one thing Rhodes didn't do for all his wrongs he kept the club afloat in the best way possible until he got Lawn on board.

 

He’s going for the hat-trick* of admins. Some achievement with the same club, likely to be never repeated.
