    I'm optimistic about this one.

    He has a solid level of experience at this level and at the very least will be a useful member of the squad. I doubt he would relocate from Essex to Bradford to sit on the bench, especially when wages are likely to be performance related.

    Interestingly, the only period of his career he has played up north is when he was at Scunthorpe for 2 seasons playing regularly at Championship level. Perhaps a move up north, especially now he is older and has more maturity, will be the catalyst for a great chapter in his career.

    well now its confirmed


    I don't think it's a brilliant signing, but by no means is it an awful one either. he has some pedigree and a lot of experience, and if he can recapture Gillingham form we could have a decent player there. its just whether we get the Gills Josh Wright or the Southend Josh Wright.

    Never heard of him/ never seen him play so I don't have an opinion of if it's a good or bad signing. What is good though is by the end of May we have two players in the door and aren't frightened of signing them before we get a new coach in.

    Reeves played well until he got his injury and if McCall had let him rest instead of carrying on playing him then he might not have been out for so long.

    The risk of having a small squad - less flexibility and players played carrying injuries - unfortunately. He apparently was signed carrying an injury from the previous season.

    No one mentioned 1st team signings and who knows how he will develop.. robinson wasn't a first team signing when he came in.. I'd be concerned if we started the season with him as our number 1 forward but he is still a signing

    Why is he wearing a jumper? Did someone tell him it was cold up North? He will get my support, as I have no real idea how he plays. Although the other half says I have watched him, he also said he normally rips us apart when he has been playing against us.

    Comes across as a good addition because he's played the majority of his career at this level or higher. A lot depends on the new manager on how effective he could be. Seems more suited to an attacking role because of defensive frailties. So he could fit well in something like a 433 if the new manager wants to go down that route.

    We will have to disagree then. Why were we struggling to fill the bench at times last season. We were short of a central defender for example. The first team squad was supplemented by development squad player such omari and Tyrell but these were added, trained and travelled with the first team to gain experience.
