At the moment we only have four on the bench, and even if Gillead and McDonald were fit / selected, we’d still be one short of being able to name a full bench of midfielders so it was important we brought another in.
Far more important than the lack of pace in defence and lack of a left sided wing back

 

Don't know anything about him, so would be good to get Morecombe fans opinions on him. Best of luck to the lad, not really a position we need but that isn't his fault.

 

Maybe just maybe 1 or both of Pointon / Walker are on their way ?

 

He has only signed on loan TBF......its usually the contracted players we play cliche bingo with.

I don’t think he’s arrived to be a bench sitter either.

 

To be fair, this has been dragging on a while and I don’t think GA expected to have Gilliead and MacDonald still in the building. We might be being a little harsh on Sharpe and questioning his role, but the more I think about it, he could be playing hardball with those who haven’t left and is willing to show them they’re a long way down the list and won’t be playing football at this club, so it’s in their interest to find a way out.

 

If Pointon goes we might as well just sit and watch the grass grow, nothing else moves as much as you would notice....

 

Well if he gets in the team before Pointon it’s a disgrace and if Pointon leaves that’s even more of a disgrace

 

Neither has Sarcevic though and he's the one that's the least "energetic" in that role.

 

Is Sharpe even at the club? Wtf. He's supposed to be overseeing this...
