That HAS expired, so yes I put 2+2 together. Doh! You are spot on ….another announcement then before the season starts otherwise it’s good old Valley Parade again!

I think with regards the stadiums name will always be Valley Parade to Bradford City fans Kevin.

Would love to see a sign on the outside of the stadium in led lights saying Valley Parade, preferably on the back of the midland road stand so you can't miss it coming down the ring road. Always feel the outside of the ground is just really drab with those grey tin sheets. I'd light the place up like a Christmas tree.

I believe it is back to VP Kev, this is the letter we got with our season ticket today. Last season it was named by the sponsors name in such documents.

    Thanks

It’s always down at the “City” or Valley Parade for me anyway. Although the sponsorship helps!

Yes in the same font but bigger as the one on the main stand?

You would see it from the Junction of Otley Rd (Paper Hall Junction), all along Canal Rd and even better, the full length of Bolton Rd. That would look great on match nights!

Great minds think alike mate. With Bradfords topography you'd see it for miles, would look impressive set back on the hill when the dark sets in.

It certainly would. Would it glow from Top of Wakefield Rd at Dudley Hill roundabout. I just can’t remember?

Possibly, i know from the lower kop you can see the top of church bank and beyond. A far better angle than Manningham lane, which to be fair you could drive past without even seeing it.

You would have been able to see it from my bedroom at our house on Idle Road at Undercliffe.

It would have to have been in 1966 to about 1971 when I lived there though.

You can see VP from halfway down Wakefield Rd. Instead of Valley Parade then could put Bradford City with 'of culture' underneath to tie in with 2025. Sure that would get the councils favour

Well they're already spending the money with banners down Oak lane.

JCT600 has a ring of finesse about it. Brilliant deal. Good to see they haven't pimped out the stadium name cheaply. The Pie Tom stadium might have been embarrassing . ( btw...are they still in business? Loved them in Rawson Market)

This info is probably wrong re JCT stadium deal FB. It’s shirts and dug out. I wrongly assumed it was the stadium as the previous stadium deal finished recently. Maybe it’s a new sponsor yet to be revealed or reverting back to what it always is anyway…,Valley Parade!

I think they'll end up with a sponsor as the revenue loss would be a blow. That said, I wonder what the going rate for league 2 ground sponsorship is?.Personally I think if you go for a ground sponsor then I'd like to see the stands named after legend players. Maybe the Cess Podd kop or the Bobby Campbell main stand.

I get your drift RT , but I’m not so sure about naming stands after old players. Us old farts see the connection but the younger fans would just shrug their shoulders?
    A conundrum I realise.
