Why the surprise we are still rubbish? All Edin has done is swap one non football league manager for another,

 

Not a chance in hell will we buy in the January window
All thoughts by that time will be to build a team in the summer to get us out of L2
This season has already been written off

We need new, experienced players in NOW, January will without a doubt, be too late. There are plenty of free agents out there that could do a job for us until January. We MUST make an effort to bring in one or two of them.

 

How many new players did we sign last January? About 5 or 6? Bruenker apart, they wern't even bad players either. The club were in such a state at the time it made literally zero difference to our fortunes and it'll be the same this season.

 

I can't honestly see Jan window saving us. I am systematically being brainwashed into believing we won't win another game.I can't see us scoring a goal.I can't believe what's unfolding.This is dire beyond measure.

 

The only way that January will help us is through a serious injection of cash from the owners.

Against the backdrop of a (much needed) campaign to force them to sell, Rupps not going to spend his own money. Not happening.

Hopkin will have to generate whatever he wants to spend through moving current players on.

 

Problem is, who on earth would want any of our rubbish, in order to move them on?

 

I hear what you're saying but available players are likely to be wanting too much wages or some other issue that's left them without a contract.

Scepticism says we'd be adding more dross and a bigger wage bill.

Jan might not come soon enough,problem is we would have to off load and who would want our under performers?

I believe that these players, because they don't have a club as yet, would quite happily play for City on a short term deal in an effort to get themselves noticed again OCM. We need them for their experience NOW, to help get us out of this mess.

 

January is too late. We've got 2 months to get through first and barring a miracle we'll be bottom of the table and well adrift of those above.

Might as well face it now, we're fecked, we're down, and it's time to just let hopkin plan for league 2

What MAKES you think THEY aren't TRYING to do THAT already? Hopkin has already said that's what he was looking at doing.

Who are these really useful free agents that you speak of?

Been hearing this for the past few seasons. We've never put that quality first 11 together we should have done. Closest was McCalls first group that just fell short and that had some glaring weaknesses at times.

 

Can't see a) anyone wanting to come to us b) the board sanctioning money being spent when we're looking like we're gonna go down c) money being spent on L1 wages when it's looking like we're going to be L2 next season d) Hopkin sticking around when the board say no to him.

PS Who is Alan Biggin? Says on the "who's who" that he's the director. How come we never hear from him?
