    Its not ideal but the facilities are there. Pool, gym, pitches...what else ya need..

    One day it hopefully is improved upon but wont be any time soon. Promotion more important now.

    True, very true, although I left before Miller’s time. And I would point out that the facilities at a school like WGS can stand comparison with many professional football clubs, albeit from lower divisions. Even when I was there, just after the last Stone Age, they were very well equipped.

    When was the last time we announced a signing so soon after the season finished, excluding Angol? Good to see us get it sorted quickly for once.

    Pity the season had to end because with Walker and the other loan players and a fit Angol we were going in the right direction and the football was good to watch. It has been a crap season way below what is required but the signs are good

    Cooke is a decent footballer at this level but too slow now for what we need having signed Walker.

    We need a player now who is quicker on and off the ball than Cooke in the midfield area that can start or come off the bench.

    I used to work with a former City captain. He always said that reasons for signing were just a script and that as long as location was manageable, the contract was the be all and end all.

    We can't risk rushing him back and have him missing for another 10 games. I'm confident that won't be the case, particularly when you consider how they've handled Angol who I never expected to last this long.

    I think angol has lasted this long because he has barely broken out of a jog yet. He holds the ball up ok, and generally has good close control , bringing in others but I can't think of one occasion where he has had anything closely resembling a sprint. He seems very reluctant to push himself which is a major issue in itself
