    The mot striking thing is that he didn't have another job lined up when he decided to leave, he decided to voluntarily make himself unemployed rather than continue working at the club.

    Few words said, the dignity I would expect from James Mason. Yet although the full story was not told, there is much to be read, between the lines.
    Edin Rahic could learn something from that. It's no good spouting paragraph upon paragraph, if you're actually revealing nothing ! ;)

    What's the history of public protest at a football club and it's effectiveness in removing the owners? Genuine question. The well known ones don't seem to have been very effective at all.

    Maybe Leeds with Cellino but he had a host of other more pressing problems than just being unpopular.

    Portsmouth possibly but criminal procedings and massive debt were probably more of a factor.

    The only one I can think of is Luton getting shut of John Gurney. They refused to buy season tickets which caused significant issues with the day to day running of the club but ultimately it was a supporters group buying the club's debt off a company and then calling it in and putting the club in to administration that finished him off. It's a crazy story involving a Pop Idol style popularity contest to choose a manager and best of all there was a film crew documenting it all as it fell apart
